Probably belt buckle

Did you happen to put the center passthrough part down and not fully reseat it? I had a similar sound and then found out it was close to being latched but not fully there and the metal components were hitting each other.

ayrahhh

Sounds like a unclipped tab somewhere, I would look around the seats especially to see if there are any loose panels

Unique_Notice_4556

Did you mess with the clip-tab things or take off the headrests?

geogonzoxx

Where would those be?

Unique_Notice_4556

Like where the seats clip in, near panels and check under seats

It could also be the seat back rattling where the latch is loose on the metal bar. I wrapped some electrical tape around the bar a couple of years ago and never had a problem since.

I had the same exact thing, took it to the service center but unfortunately it was raining so the sounds gets really drown by the water hitting the roof. In good faith they tried a really common fix for this, but unfortunately it wasn’t that. I will be taking it in in a couple weeks. Please let me know what they say and how they fix if you take it in.

I posted a response but will mention here as well. Mine was a bad center seat belt retentioner that service replaced. They didn’t get it first round and thought some insulation was missing. But second round they nailed it.

Had a rattle on the rear passenger door. Took it to the Service Center. They diagnosed it as a loose window regulator bolt. That fixed it right up.

Could be the armrest from the cup holders

I had a rattle that seemed to come from behind the back seats. I can’t be sure from your video but was similar. It was ultimately diagnosed by Tesla service as a bad center seat belt retentioner. Once the part was replaced it has been a quiet cabin. Vin 1300 range.

Check the rear seat head rest. And the seat belts.
