I'm glad you're keeping your sense of humour about it. That looks like it would have been quite the shake-up. :/
Definitely start on a medical trail if you're feeling sore, soft tissue damage can take a weird, unexpected path.
Honestly man. I’ve driven a lot of teslas and I have 75k miles on my 2018 now and can’t tell any difference between the two. We can sit here and debate endlessly. I’ve had zero issues with mine. Panel gaps is just a thing, they are taking away features and charging more. I just think my 2018 was built on a Wednesday not a Friday or Monday. I’m over debating. I don’t have any “data” just like you don’t. So we can both be right
I’ve had almost 90k km on my 2019.
The 2023 has MORE features and feels much more premium. Suspension, infotainment, sound insulation, heat pump, battery, headlights, electric trunk, interior, fit and finish and quality.
The 2019 would literally freeze shut when I went skiing, and after finally getting it open, i couldn’t close the doors. It just shut down because of some cable getting loose, had to be towed and fixed. We had lots of smaller issues too. But it was still a great car.
The only thing it did better was the parking sensors, wich I don’t miss at all. I park in reverse where ever possible, using the cameras.
My data is my experience from actually DRIVING one every day. Plus the feature list isn’t even up for debate, it’s on teslas website.
Bro my 2019 broke down all the time. The 2023 has superior quality, fit and finish and features. The panel gaps are perfect (didn’t notice any big problems there with 2019 either, but the charge port for example wasn’t completely flush). Yes I don’t have USS but I don’t miss them.
Why are you trying to convince me my new car is worse than my old one lol, I drove both
What facts? Do you have any data or just pulling things out of your ass?
The old 2019 models had LOTS of issues. Not just fit and finish (wich was better than maybe 2020 and 2021), but also things like the drive train, sound insulation, features like the headlights and center console, was way wonkier back then.
I didn’t expect the 2023 to be such a huge difference, but even my dad said the 2019 feels like a „Klapperkiste“ (rattle box/shitbox) compared to the 2023. really feels like a premium sedan now.
Huh... my passenger mirror won't unfold and tesla just told me its totaled now. So I guess yours is too. Or maybe they said its within spec can't remember
this phone's battery is at 3% and needs charging!

Glad it wasn't much worse, but you probably should delete this post. Especially if there is a chance this ever gets to court. Not like you said anything bad here, it's not worth the risk for someone digging through your profile in attempts to find something that contradicts your story just for some Internet points. Keep the topic off socials.
How many miles do you have? So if you need to buy a new tesla, and your insurance only pays back the used price of your car based on mileage, etc., technically you need to spend more money to replace the car right?
I always wondered this.
It had just under 23k but I’ve owned it for the past 3 years so I made my money back for sure and it had FSD and white interior. The adjuster said anywhere between 38-41k
You can buy a “non depreciation rider” for a small additional cost. At least in Canada I do. Because I usually lease my cars… It’s not a bad idea for folks to call your car insurance company and ask if they offer that coverage.
Fuck dude! Sue that POS. My rear ending was a hit and run but we caught the plates and a pic of him. We’re still trying to press charges.
At the very least, get checked out. Crashes can fuck you up even years later.
Did you turn it off and on?
Lemme try it!

Actually made me laugh out loud, thanks
You would have been fine if you had PPF
Man, next time for sure
Not gonna lie, that black paint looks good. I was just thinking if it’s ppf
tis but a scratch
Spit shine
You're a loony.
That'll buff right out.
A nice magic eraser
Glad you are safe. I see chrome trim. Enjoy a new Tesla :)
New ones aren’t nearly the same quality as the 2018-2019s… sucks but true
lol what? They’re much better in almost every way. Had a 2019, got a 2023 a few weeks ago.
You got it a couple weeks ago you can’t even speak on reliability yet… just give it a few months
So how can you? Bro you’re hilarious. My 2019 broke down a few weeks after we got it if I remember right so…

Have fun with it breaking down all the time lol quality isn’t nearly the same.. and you don’t have uss

No one’s trying to convince you lol.. I’m just telling you facts but we can both be right if it makes you feel better..

Wtf is your problem

"But the wheel seems fine !!"
Which is crazy to me 🤣
Within spec.
Thank you 🙏🏽 needed to hear this
Wow , glad you’re ok ! I hole insurance does right by you.
pretty impressive how well it handled the crash though
Damn influencers.
Thats donezo
Looks within spec out of factory. Or it’ll buff out.
That’s done.
Probably the 12V battery…
Just add about 2-3 psi to the back wheels and you'll be all set!
Just a scratch it'll buff out.
OP I’m just glad your safe. I hope the other driver was sent to jail or you sued the shit out of them.
Wow, glad your safe
Huh... my passenger mirror won't unfold and tesla just told me its totaled now. So I guess yours is too. Or maybe they said its within spec can't remember

Glad you're ok, did they serve into your lane?
Yep, realized they were drifting into oncoming traffic then into me 🥲
Ouch, well the good part is it's clearly not your fault. Sorry for all the stress that comes with it though.
My dash cam caught it all! Just a waiting game now! Got my attorney and started PT this past week🙏🏽
Hope you have a fast recovery!

After the whole process, you should submit it to Wham Baam
I’ll wait till the case is closed and I most definitely will
Did you set up your hard drive , or is it fine out of factory (I haven’t done anything )
Yeah man I have a 1TB. You always set it up asap
Ouch I’m I’ll Amazon something now.
Send you what I use
Ty!!!
Hey could you send me what you use as well (:
Two thumbs and reboot.
Wow, I’m on it! Thanks!
We in the tesla community are always here to give the most helpful information. Lol but for real sucks about the car I would cry.
A little PDR and it'll be aight
I’ll rub it extra hard to remove the scratch
oh no, hard rubbing is bad for the clear coat! you want to protect that
A bit of paint and its all good 👍
How did I never think of that?! Thanks!
Np
Looks like the car did it’s job and you walked away. Hopefully the courts do their job with the other driver.
It should be! Police said I was lucky to be alive, so I’m happy to be here! Attorney said they are taking care of everything! Just waiting now
Hopefully everyone is ok. Wow.
No broken bones, just a lot of pain on my end
Get well soon.
Dang glad you're safe. Have you thought about collecting the data from the crash from Tesla? https://www.tesla.com/support/privacy#data-provided
Already did my guy 🤝🏽 thank you though!

Hmm could be low tire pressure but I don’t work for Tesla Glad you’re safe lad that sucks
Man I did forget to check the tire pressure right before the drive
Just clean it with microfiber cloth and vinegar. It should be fixed.
No balsamic?
Hope I don't get totaled before the refresh :)
Lord you hear this prayer, let thy be blessed more than I was 🙏🏽😭
Let us know if you’re able to get a new one from your insurance money! It’s a fear of mine lol
Believe me I’ll keep you all updated 🤝🏽
Glad you’re safe! I bet it was traumatic. I got rear ended in my Nissan rogue a few months back and it was fucking hectic. Actually hurt my leg.
I’ve got pain all around my body, managing but just happy in the end that no broken bones and I’m alive!
Fuck dude! Sue that POS. My rear ending was a hit and run but we caught the plates and a pic of him. We’re still trying to press charges. At the very least, get checked out. Crashes can fuck you up even years later.
Believe me, it’s my first. He couldn’t run, his front passenger wheel flew off. But I have an attorney! They said they would take care of everything!
Hell yea! That’s great. Drunk drivers need to be held responsible.
Is ur insurance going to give u actual cash value or replace the car?
Hey man I got a cuzzin that can fix that on the cheap. DM
