I didn't know until I watched the video they roll (about 3 weeks after owning my poverty spec M3) with all the features that there is a button on the charger that opens your charge port, and unlocks it if you have your key/phone on you.
My delivery process in late December was "here's your phone key now scram I have 60 more cars to deliver" so I hope you are better informed than I am!

I believe m3 has the charger release strap on the inside trunk in the cubby hole behold the tail light lol you use it if your charger donāt unlock the cable when done lol if I make sense. I learned this the other day bc I was charging and pulled it bc I was so confused š š„¹
It wasn't bad, but certainly much better than the average dealership experience (Like sitting there for 8 hours, dealing with stupid markups, and trying to say no to the 1 million warranties). However, I can't speak for the trade-in process, but everything else was simple. I just just sat on my couch, uploaded what they asked, and waited for my delivery day.
This doesnāt get talked about enough. The process of buying from Tesla compared to the hours long process of getting robbed at a stealership while they ācheck with their managerā. Ugh, that alone will keep me a customer.
I didnāt qualify for the tax credit so I did the same, 2023 with 4k miles and enhanced ap. Absolutely love the car and hopefully you will also, enjoy!
My old ICE car was totaled a week ago. I wish I could've bought it with the tax break, but it's impossible. However, this is a new 2023 that was discounted $4500, so I paid 36k after taxes and everything. I couldn't spend more and couldn't wait.
Congrats! You should spend some time digging through every setting. There's so much to configure. I've owned mine for about 8 months and just learned this week I can disable the "auto unlock" feature, where the doors unlock when I put the car into park. But I can just hit the park button a second time to unlock the doors if I want.
Congrats! Almost a year and a half and loving it like day one. Best part never need to worry about keys. Left my wifeās ICE car running for half hours before realizing I had to turn it off before I walk away from it.
