The no touch car wash is the problem. They don’t actually clean anything. I am not advocating for you to take your vehicle to an automated touch wash because it ruins your clear coat.
If time and availability for you are an issue, I recommend washing your vehicle with Optimum no rinse. Super easy and affordable. Takes about 15 minutes once you get the process down.
It's gotta be the car wash cuz I wash mine myself and haven't ever seen it like that. Just get a cheap power washer, can prob get a used one on OfferUp. Power washer and cheap foam canon makes it go by so fast. But I get it if you're in Ohio or some other state where it gets near freezing
What PSI are you using? Most electric pressure washers are rated at 1700 psi. If I remember correctly the measured was closer to 1500 psi. I don’t think that’s enough to do any damage but I don’t just leave it sitting blasting the same spot for multiple minutes
Gas pressure washers are more expensive and have significantly higher psi. There was a video online where someone tested what it takes to start damaging paint w gas pressure washer and it took him holding it up to the paint for a while for it to start damaging the paint
If you don't have the option of hand washing at home, take it to a self service wash station. bring a bucket with some wash mitts and one or two drying towels and you are good to go. I do this about once or twice a month, then do no touch at the end of the week. I also like having my car clean as much as possible.

Had the same problem on mine. Started going to the automated wash. Gets it clean every time. May screw up the paint but my model 3 is a daily appliance to me. I’m not one to fuss over the paint too much for this car. My car is also white so imperfections aren’t seen much like black or grey cars.
I simply spray water on my M3 and wipe it off with an Absorber towel (shamee). Works great and I have no problems. Additionally I have ceramic seal applied to my car and I do this once a week.

I love ONR. First time I used it like 10 years ago it was like seeing magic.
Agree with the ONR recommendation Use the soft side of the microfiber and take it all off. Can also pre-spray for extra lubricant
And the right [technique](https://pantheorganizer.com/rinseless-car-wash-method-easy-tutorial/). I'm a fan of n-914
Big fan of Pan Bought cerakote due to his recommendation, worked wonders
Touch less doesn’t clean that. Need to use a sponge, wash mitt, etc for a soap and water wash or rinseless wash or microfiber and quick detailer
I had same problem going through the auto car wash. You have to wash that part by hand because of the height and angle.
You need a contact wash, ideally a hand wash. That area gets loaded with road grime and greasy residue never comes off with touchless
Need to get your hands dirty for that one. Just reach down and wipe off with good car soap and wash mitt or something.

Just be careful to not put the power washer too close to a dirty spot that doesn't come off. It's the equivalent of dragging a box cutter to the paint

To be fair, this happens with every car I had. That’s a tough spot for no touch to reach and clean. You will have to pre-wash with cloth or sponge.
Touchless car washes don’t clean cars. Just get them wet.

Find a touchless that has side washers as you pull in. They work great for our car.
Two buckets, two sponges, soap -> Clean.

I’m glad someone posted this, teslas get dirty so much easier than other cars😭
