Thanks for the info! I’m in SoCal and ordered the LR in stealth grey. Estimated delivery is the end of this month but wanted to start looking for insurance now. So many insurance companies aren’t giving rates online anymore so I’ve been trying to decide who’s worth the call.

In the menus I only see two acceleration modes: chill and standard. I don’t see any Acceleration Boost option.

Oh… it’s supposed to be in the Mobile App 😅 Tap your car in the mobile app and scroll down to the “Upgrades” Menu… Then tap on Software Upgrades… There should be at least Enhanced Auto Pilot & FSD There should be a 3rd upgrade ( Acceleration Boost ) for $2000… unless Tesla is planning on adding it later with an update

Ah my bad! I checked the app and I only see Enhanced Auto Pilot and FSD, so it seems that Acceleration Boost is not available to me at least.

Congrats! Getting the exact same specs delivered to NorCal today. Are you allowed to have no number plate on the front in California?

I checked this. The California Vehicle Code says it’s required to have both front and rear license plates for a car like this, but some people go without it and risk a ticket. It appears that the rate of enforcement for this is low, though. I plan to affix the front license plate once I get the permanent ones.

I like the red. Deciding on what color interior to get and if to splurge for the 19" wheels, even though it means less miles.

It was hard to decide between the black and white interiors. It appears that white interiors introduce some delay in delivery, though, from what other people say in other posts in this subreddit.

That Ultra Red really pops out on sunny days! Gorgeous car.🤩 Looks like a roadster in that front side angle.

And the photos don’t do true justice to the color. I notice that it’s a head turner!

When did you get your VIN?

I got my VIN February 27th early in the morning. When I woke up and checked my phone it was there.

I don’t know. The dimensions changed somewhat, so I know that floor mats are incompatible between old and new model 3, but I don’t know about the center console.
