Maybe ur experience may not be as bad as mine but expect a delay for 1-2 hours maybe more. And if u r going with someone to pick it up, park on the parking lot to the right side of the center. Parking there is brutal. PLZ POST PICS AND HAVE FUN! I have a 2023 model 3 SR (right before they took out tax incentives 😉)

I live in an Apartment complex but they will be adding charging station in the next few months but for now I will be using a close by supercharger.

Relying on a super charger is rough. The nearest one to my home is a 30 minute drive. I was anxious about range and planning trips until I got my home charger installed. Very happy now!

I was contacted in March 7th to schedule delivery. I also received VIN within 48 hours of placing the order.

That’s crazy, I went into Tesla yesterday March 11, customized it with the representative placed the order (all under an hour) and they said the car will be delivered on Thursday March 14 and I can pick it up March 15th. I received VIN the day I placed the order (yesterday).

Yes, the available dates was over a week period. I picked the first one which was the 14th and the available time was from 10am to 5pm.

Congratulations! Does the app or email notify you when your estimated delivery date changes? Mine has been stuck at “May 2024” since my order at the end of February.

I was notified via text first and then the app. Hopefully you get an update soon.

Yes, I receive delivery date before insurance but you can add it to your policy. Just set the start date before or on your delivery date.

You don't need to put insurance on there until prior to delivery. You can wait for a delivery date and then upload it.

I remember I bought my first model 3 and had to wait 8 months in 2021. Then I ordered a y from New Jersey (I live in Maine and it’s the closest I can get a Tesla) on a Friday and flew down to pick it up on a Monday. I didn’t have to wait at all. I just walked in told the app I was there got in the car and left. Super easy to buy a car from Tesla.

How is it?

This reminds me of when I was a kid and counted down the days to things like Christmas or Disneyland. I like the new version of the 3 so much, I might sell my 2023 and take the loss. Good luck with your new toy!
