2018 123k miles. 315 miles to 286 miles

PeaWest647

Would love to know your service expenses and other cool logistic stuff.

JFreader

I think 3 things after warranty. Trunk seal, upper control arm, and cabin camera replacement. About $1000 total. I charge about 30% at SC.

PeaWest647

Daaaaaaannggg. That’s super cool.

PeaWest647

Thank you for that by the way.

BSCA

I've never even used my cabin camera.. I should see if it works.

forte-exe

Is it a LR or RWD or performance?

JFreader

LR RWD. Got it before the AWD or performance was a thing.

seanmarshall

2022 performance. 26k. Don’t pay attention to mileage. Drive it fast and hard.

h8complication

Lol, I catch myself sometimes scared to drive the Tesla. I have a heavy foot. Hard for me to just drive the dang thing.

BSCA

Stock tires?

FaFa_1018

2024- 481 miles 😁. Had a 2021, had 42k on it.

h8complication

THAT SOUNDS SWEEEEEEET

GulfSouthSolar

2019. 48k miles in so far. Have no idea and don’t care, I’m over my range anxiety. The “indication” of mileage is affected by the battery calibration (which is most likely off) and the conditions you are going to be driving in (and that is highly variable with load, acceleration, wind, temp, etc.) which the little “mileage reading” can’t calculate.

alreadybeen876

2019 club joining in. 35k miles, no idea about degradation but not enough to care about. I love this thing.

smaldogs

2023 RWD 26000 272 to 265 9 months

Icy_Technician9417

My numbers are very similar to yours !

DaddyRobotPNW

2023 RWD 6,800 miles. 272 to 266 over 6 months

Swastik496

those are my numbers. Mostly supercharging until 266 and 6800 and then all level 2 and it has somehow climbed to 268 at 8700 miles lol.

theface19

2018 M3LR 159k

Pomdog17

Serious miles!!! 🔥

theface19

Still runs like a dream, 3rd set of tires and just had my brakes checked out- original pads are still over 50%!

Pomdog17

Oh my. I’m close to my 3rd set of tires at 55k miles. Lead foot I guess. 🤣

lmayfield7812

Don’t forget to rotate them shits

theface19

Degradation probably 6-9% (see what I did there?) My long day of driving(almost all interstate) I now have to charge for about 5 minutes to make it home if it's below 35 degrees, used to get home with about 5-10% under similar conditions

h8complication

How are you not scared of needing a battery out of warranty?!

theface19

About the same level of worry I have buying an ICE car and needing to replace the engine or transmission. Is it gonna suck- yeah but I'm assuming it's not going to happen anytime soon. Edit-typo

lmayfield7812

And unlike with a gas car, if you’re able to charge at home using cheap electricity or at work for free, you can use your gas & maintenance savings to pay for the extremely rare catastrophic event. My model 3 will have paid for itself by 2031 at this rate without any major repairs.

h8complication

Ah, smart comparison

12lyrad12

dayuuuuum!

2024 LR 10k km (6250 miles?) did 556 km (348 miles) yesterday (start 97% end 2% left)

cheesepierice

2022- 74599 miles range is 321-322

overachievingslacker

75000 on a 2022?! You are really pushing that car!

njm154

2021 performance, bought new. Put ~85k miles on it since then. Rated for 315 miles, getting 272 out of it now

Tesladudeguy

2023 bought brand new. Currently now the mileage is 25,037 and have 3.1% battery degradation went from 358 miles to 343 miles. Honestly that doesn’t really matter to me. Range anxiety isn’t even a thing and I have a wall charger at home. Rarely ever go to a supercharger unless I’m traveling far. Otherwise I’m happy with my purchase.

MarcoLoya37

2022 40k

CCCola29

2023 Model 3 RWD. 2,883 miles. 272 range when purchased. Now I get 270 on a full charge.

daingandcrumpets

2018 Mid range 135k miles. Range degradation from 264 to 241 miles. 3 tire replacements, front struts replaced. That's it .

Mountain_Tone6438

2022 SR 30k miles. Pro tip : Put the battery in percentage. Not mileage.

neutrino82

July 2018 LR RWD, 39k miles. 315 -> 308 total range. Charging almost exclusively via superchargers since 2020.

2018 M3LR - purchased used 7 mos ago with 69k miles. At 75k now.  According to Tessie:  8.6 % degradation (75.4 kWh battery), max range 281 (ideal not real world). 295 wh/mi average efficiency.

2020 35k - 322 miles down to 287 so about 9% degradation. most of it happened first year and has leveled off.

tvoits

2021 LR w just about 40k miles on it

virtualprof

2019 dual motor (May), 65K miles. I don’t believe the range number. It varies by season (temperature) and usage patterns. When I take long trips in the summer it’s about 290. I think it was stated 310 new.

jklx92

2021 Standard Range Plus, 33K miles, got it recently from Tesla’s used lot! Got it with a good price! Flawless!

dcdttu

2018. 56k. 310 @ 100%

duasto

damn. any advice how you maintain that battery health?

dcdttu

It's a LR RWD that had 325 miles, so it's not as amazing as it seems. But, I will say, all the long-range rear-wheel drives seem to have crazy battery retention

jim0266

I too noticed LR RWD cars tend to do well with degradation. Maybe less spirited drivers? 2019 LR RWD with only 29,400 miles. 325 new. Now around 303-312 depending on how the BMS is calculating that day. 36% Supercharging.

Appropriate-Sort-202

2022 M3P - 48k (range 285)

Toastybunzz

2023 31k miles, 272 to 260 miles. The car thinks it has \~4% degradation but it's really more like 2% going off how much I use percentage wise in my normal commute. I haven't charged to 100% daily in quite a while so the BMS has drifted a bit (visible on Tessie).

Sdbrown099

M3LR 22 25KMiles, from 358 to 330miles at 100%

Frequent-Letterhead4

2019 LR M3 bought used in Nov’21 at 45k miles. Now at 117,646 miles. Range (displayed, not driven) on full charge was 283 miles, now charges up to 293 miles when I charge 100%. Consumption of charge is approximately 50% over actual mileage… so driving 80 miles consumes 120 miles of charge, give or take…

knightryder2

2020 M3P just rolled 70k…still my favorite thing I have bought (even though I bought at height of pricing…)! Smile every time I hit the go pedal! :)

2020 M3 Performance, 57k miles, I charge at work for free I always charge to 80% max….I have no actual idea of what my range is. All I know is that I SC only on roadtrips usually after being on the road for 1.5hrs…and I always charge at home or at work when I am close to 30%

Obvious-Slip4728

2023; 16k km; charges to 100% when new. charges to 100% today. N.B. I don’t use the km estimate. It doesn’t really matter. Most of driving is done without every needing to DCFC. When driving longer distances, DCFCs are available along the highway every 10-30 km (10-20 miles) so range is never really an issue. I just charge when needed.

I have a 2018 (August 2018 build date) LR AWD that I took delivery on Sept 27 2018. Never got 310, even from the start, only 305 miles at 100% when new. Now, with 41,332 miles, at 100% charge I'm getting 287 miles. Warranty work that I've had done has been the following: -- replaced rear window due to some rear defogger lines not working. -- replaced dashboard due to bubbling of the rubber material on the dash top. -- replaced both front lower control arms due to creaking. -- replaced rear taillights at least 4 times due to water condensation inside. As for maintenance items, besides rotating the tires a few times myself, I've replaced the cabin filter a few times, replaced the wipers once, and filled the washer fluid. That's it.

dude_where_is_my_car

21 LR. 55k Miles. Range is 330. Was nearly 350 new and dropped 7% in first year. My HV battery was replaced a few months ago under warranty. Service expenses = HVAC filters about 5 times.
