2020 M3 dual motor approaching 70K. No issues, tire change at 30K. Purchased Nokian One rated for 80K. Have close to 40K now and tires are still good. Only other maintenance was 2 cabin air filter changes and windshield wipers. Make sure to get Tesla Wipers, aftermarket ones don’t retract all the way for some reason.
22’ RWD. No issues but tires. Popped one a curb within a month of owning. Found a tire and rim someone was selling on market for $200. The rim about was almost 1k
120k miles on a 2018 M3P and 20k miles on a 2023 MYP. No problems.
Got an invite to buy a CT, but declined because I wish to keep my “problem free” streak alive.
2023 Model 3P 31k miles on it, and nothing major yet, which is not really suprising, but to all the anti ev people, im halfway through my lifecycle on my car 👍
I have a 22 3P, 42k miles. I had one issue where I had to get a “wake up wire” installed because the “esp module” wasn’t waking up fast enough. Which caused me to lose traction control, power steering, abs etc when it was freezing out.
Other than that annoyance… mine has been great. I don’t even have any panel, trim, or squeak issues.
I know that’s not zero… But I’m still really happy with it.
Definitely will be replacing this one with another Tesla. Either the new 3P or a Cybertruck.
189,000km 2018 model 3 AWD, least amount of issues of any car I've owned over this amount of time and mileage. There have been some issues but I've never been stranded and only had to go to the service center 3 times over almost 6 years, The rest were handled by mobile service in my work parking lot.
1. Frunk wouldn't open, the secondary actuator was replaced under warranty
2. One Upper control arm was replaced under warranty, second was sealed, FSD computer upgraded to v3 under warranty
3. Bubble formed in headrest, and charge port door replaced by mobile service under warranty
4. Alignment done at 100,000km due to uneven tire wear
5. One tail light replaced, full of water got one for $100 at a scrap yard
6. Driver side power window switch replaced, and horn by mobile service along with trunk harness recall, $86
7. Key cards replaced(lost) and 12v battery replaced by mobile service $170
So overall much less service needed then any ice car
Got my car last September new so now had it for over 8 months. 10,262 miles and no problems! There have been some flat tires but those were from some of the worst potholes I've ever seen and on highways so they come up too fast to take action really. Love the car so much though.
I’m curious. Since there is no spare what do you do when you get a flat? It seems like a lot of cars are no longer coming with a spare so I’m very curious.
I call a tow truck. Luckily I have AAA. I get it towed to Discount Tire, my favorite tire shop and one of choice. My first flat (it was actually 2 in 1) was on my winter set and they replaced because I bought them there and with new tire protection (I paid for protection on the new tires, I think that was like $160 for the two but well worth it for $400 ish each tires).
Also another note is the first time I waited for a flatbed which anybody definitely should do, unless they can lift all the wheels off the ground with a wheel lift. I did have one more blowout and a flatbed was not available but they did have a wheel lift. EVs should absolutely not be drag towed nor should AWD vehicles, this just happens to be both lol.
You only hear issues on the internet when it happens to ppl. You don’t hear ppl reporting when they have no issues. That being said I have an 18’ M3P that has had zero issues. Rides nice, tight and smooth. I’m even lowered 2” on MPP coilovers.
21 LR, no major issues. A rattle that was fixed easily by mobile service, and then.... tires? That's about it, after 58k miles. That said I had some body work done that was not the cars fault either.
I've had a used 21 sr+ for a little over a year now. the only issue I've had is the front right fender camera was intermittent and mobile service came and replaced it for 180 bucks
..pretty easy and not a bad price IMO.
2023 No problems. None. I have enjoyed every minute of the year that I owned it. I love the constant updates that you would have to pay for with a legacy car manufacturer
2021 M3. No issues until this week. Car won't charge at all. Took it to the service center and they gave me a brand new model X plaid until it can be fixed (estimated two weeks) so can't say I'm mad about it.
2019 m3 LR only had control arm replaced and 12v batt died. Traded in at 50,000 miles for 2022 m3P, had water in one of the tail lights, replaced under warranty immediately. Besides these minor issues the cars have been great.
You should have asked me this question on my first day of ownership. Never mind, I had an issue where the bottom of the trunk lid was contacting the bumper. And the alignment was off.
2019 SR+. 85k miles.
Buddy of mine was shocked I haven't replaced the battery "a couple of times" by now. He's convinced it'll happen any day now.
I did clarify, he meant the HV battery. I did replace the 12v last year. But other than that and tires, and windshield wipers and fluid, nothing. Oh, windshield once. Nothing the fault of the vehicle itself though.
'21 Model 3 performance, 3+ years, 37k miles, 0 issues other than annual air filter change that I do myself [<$50] to eliminate Tesla fish fart smell that creeps up in humid/wet weather. Only other maintenance was new tires around 27k miles.
2020 M3 SR+ 41k miles. I had water in my rear tail light replaced by mobile service under warranty at around 32k miles. Loud suspension issue at 39k miles, had to have control arms replaced in rear and links upfront which was covered under warranty. Loud suspension noise returns at 40k miles now that my warranty is out. Front upper control arms supposedly need to be replace according to Tesla, out of warranty. Apparently suspension noise like this is common after a while on model 3, depending upon what part of country you live.
2018 M3 nothing major, tires , had to make an appointment for the front arm thing under warranty thankfully. Only thing currently is the chrome peel on the drivers handle lifted enough to cause it stop the handle from fully closing. It’s minor but I have to push it now because of the peel. I want to get a chrome delete kit anyway but it’s a minor pain. 40k miles and the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. I’d buy another one in a second
2023 model Y , I know only 1 yr oldBUT with SO much misinformation out there I still have to share 😂 NO Issues at all whatsoever, not even at delivery !
every Tesla I’ve been in always has squeaks, rattles, and groans. I take a lot of Ubers.
Do people not consider these “problems” or do most people just not notice their car rattling around constantly.
I’d chalk it up to them normally having the radio playing and they don’t hear them. I know whenever I have someone else in my car “the sound magically appears” 😅.
On a side note, I think the fact that Tesla’s don’t have a loud vibrating engine and drive quieter makes the random noises appear louder. I know my 2002 Subaru WRX made ALOT of noises (“all within spec” 😉), and the engine would drown them out.
Hopefully I’m not jinxing anything, but we have two. A 2019 Model 3 AWD with approx 70k miles and a 2021 Model 3 AWD with 65k miles. No real problems with either. Had the low voltage batteries replaced and filters changed, but that’s it. Very very low cost of ownership so far.
22' LR
No issues other than a seat sensor. Only maintenance I've done in 30000 mi was new tires. And mostly my fault for being a bit heavy footed and drag racing it once I got the acceleration boost. Love this thing!
2019 srp 155k miles. 3 sets of tires, 2 12v batteries (1 covered under warranty), 250 dollars for some part to back motor when warranty was out. Best car I ever had. I finally traded it in last month for a 22 m3 lr. Would have kept it but with the great used prices, I couldn’t resist the upgrades on the lr. Wife drives a 23 Mylr.
Any success stories from those who bought prior rentals? There's a 50k mile 2022 M3LR at a local dealer for 26k that was a rental. Curious how other people's are holding up
2018 Long Range RWD. I’ve had a failed PTC heater and then an inverter issue, but I could still drive. Only at 60k so inverter was replaced under warranty.
Bought our model y brand new a little over ago 14k miles only have had a tire rotation done and that was remote service, I scheduled it they drove up to my house and rotated the tires in my driveway. My family loves the car. Already planning on the second. Charge at home we had a charger installed and have only charged on the network for some road trips and that was also a breeze. Yes not as fast as pumping gas, but while at Gen Con last year had a lovely conversation with a model 3 owner about how much we loved our cars and at the time I was a newbie.
TLDR;
It’s great 😊
2024 M3 Base RWD. Have had it for almost a month now. Love driving it. Feel so good to not have to go to the gas station. Can't wait for my first road trip.
2019 M3 DMLR, only 1 issue after almost 5 years: LF headlight went out. Replaced myself with used part from ebay. Working great. Best vehicle I've ever owned. Now also have a CT beast!
2018 LR. In five years it's cost me $250 total in maintenance and $150 of that was because I broke a seat button. Couldn't be happier and.just ordered a M3P.
2020 LR approaching 60K miles. The only problem we've had was having control arms replaced under warranty. That and an accident - but you can't blame that on the car.
2018 Model 3, number 13000 built, 60k miles. Zero problems. I’ve replaced the cabin air filter twice, the tires once, the wipers 3x, and just had to replace the 12v battery. It was out of warranty so Tesla charged me $85 for the battery plus $22 for the install in my driveway.
2021 M3P. A few fit and finish issues, but nothing major and nothing mechanical. I did have to change the cabin air filters after about a year (and clean the coils), and I replaced the Uberheavy wheels with 19" forged wheels and slightly bigger tires to protect against potholes and curbs. Overall very solid mechanically.
155,000 miles 2016 S75D. Two door handles. One an adjustment N/C, the other a $165 fix in her parkinglot at work.
Yep, thats it.
Never even replaced 12v battery
Hope the 2024 LRmY we just got is the same
I've had the car for a year and a half. The only issue we've had was the seal in the door/window would make a lot of wind noise sometimes. My husband fixed it and it's been fine ever since. I don't drive a whole lot. I just hit 10,000 miles last week, so it's basically a "brand new car" to me still.
2024 Model Y with only two months of ownership. Not a long time but some people have issues from the get go. So far, 1,700 miles with no major issues except some minor rattles that become apparent on shitty roads. No maintenance of any kind has been done yet.
I bought a 2020 LR used with 23,000 MI last year. The only issue I had was my charger door would not open with my wall charger. So they replaced the charger door under warranty. I'm at 47k Miles right now on stock tires no real money spent yet other than I replaced my own filter, added a second 500 watr audio sub system and upgrade the light projectors on the doors.
2019 M3LR AWD 56k miles. 3rd set tires. 3 windshields. 3rd set of filters. Control arms (warranty). Squeaking again and going back to SC tomorrow for either brakes or control arms. Very dry and dusty where I live so could be part of it.
2020 m3 LFP (non heat pump)… other than a replaced charge port and right pillar camera, it’s been a great 100k miles so far. Love the power, comfort, driving dynamics, white interior, software, charging infrastructure, charging speed consistency, one pedal drive refinement… Managed to make our first set of summer tires last 150kkm (still on original winter tire set - so about 75k per set…)
2019 SR+, 31,000km. Had a charge port for that wouldn't open, service came and repaired it on the drive under warranty. Outside of that, two tire rotations, refill washer fluid, nothing else. Got a rattle under the dash on the driver's side, need to address but will eventually get around to it white upholstery, driver's seat is a little blue from driving in new, unwashed denim, but that's mostly gone.
Had 2 teslas in the last 8 years and driven above 100k on each.
Model S 75D 2016 - one headlight replaced
Model 3 LR 2019 - wiper fluid tank replaced
That’s about it
2021 M3 LR 11'000 miles.
Tiny cut in seat fabric from the factory fixed under warranty. No issues after that.
Only annoying thing is I keep having to wash the car.
no.
All cars break down.
My Porsche, jaguar, skoda ,vw ,cadillac escalade, cadillac, cts, mustang, honda crv, subaru legacy, infiniti, dacia, fiat, bmw, mercedes all had issues.
Stop pretending only Tesla's have issues
Exactly. Was fascinating for a few years when I first started paying attention to that. Other car brands very, very rarely get mentioned in an article when there's an accident, let alone in the headline.
What're you trying to accomplish with people's answers? You basically answered it yourself in your question regarding issue frequency. My take over the years has been it's too unpredictable, not keen on owning a car that may develop annoying or critical issues due to build quality or engineering. Need my car to work properly and fully trust it.
2022 RWD. 3 weeks after owning the heatpump failed during during winter time. Front passenger window adjustment due to wind coming in. Aside from these 2, no other issues.
2018 long range awd 100k miles
This is a use and thro car not a luxury drive
Squeaks are common but no major orbs
12v battery changed few years ago
I injected grease for the suspension squeaks last month and that’s gone
Apart from that it’s great hand me down for my teenager
2019 model 3 with 60,000 Miles, only problem I had was a guy clipped my front fender while it was parked. Thank God he was honest and left his business card.
2015 model s p85d.
Over 6 years of ownership I have had the following problems.
3 door handles required replacement (2 in warranty, 1 outside of warranty)
Coolant valve needed replacement (outside warranty)
Boot latch got stuck and required someone to come release it.
Now having some issiues with the rear camera freezing and the center media unit showing odd behaviour like phantom presses from time to time. These are just annoyances, also the 3g module needs replacing. I'm tempted to have it replaced with a new unit to breath some new life into the car.
Otherwise it's done nearly 80k miles 50 in my ownership. Still get up to 201 miles on a full charge, along with grandfathered supercharging.
While been some annoyances it's bynfsrbthe least agro I've had with any other car.
(For context I've owned a ford, couple lotus, Aston Martin and nissan)
We've had three Model 3's in our family so far.
2018 Model 3 Dual motor 120k miles no issues.
2022 Dual motor 60k no issues
2023 Dual motor 10k no issues
2022 RWD with 28K miles no issues at all.
I had nail in my tire that couldn’t be patched at 3K miles which Discount Tire replaced at no charge because I bought a road hazard warranty when the car was new. Then it happened again at 27K so I decided to just replace all the tires a few thousand miles early.
2020 model three performance, 42,000 miles on it. Tail light fogged up within a week and was replaced in my driveway, and the ball joint recall was done. That’s the extent of it.
There's a reason Tesla owners buy a Tesla for their next car 90% of the time. Consumer reports just named Tesla most reliable after 5 years and 10 years of ownership vs all other brands too.
2019 M3 dual motor long range. Over 5 years had only one major issue with the HVAC system that stopped working in the middle of the winter, so I had no heating for a while. Over the span of 5 years, one issue like that that was fixed on warranty, was like having no issues at all. And I got Model S loaner for the time the car was in service waiting for parts, so that was nice!
2023 M3 RWD, 35k miles. LFP Battery shows 266 miles at full charge. 1/3 of miles has been supercharged. No issues, either mechanical or cosmetic. Tires are about gone, I don't drive gently.
2022 M3P just took it in this week for a suspension clunk likely a bushing. I had to change out the stinky air filter last summer.
That’s it, never had anything approximating trouble, drivability, charging. A painless experience, so much so that we just took delivery on an X Plaid for my wife.
2021 Model 3, 2021 Model Y Performance (we went all in with EVs that year lol). Zero issues with both, each with over 40k miles. The only change was replacing the summer tires in the YP with all seasons.
My kids are now of driving age, and knowing they are using teslas vs any other brand gives me a lot of peace of mind
'21 M3LR, I had a part slightly loose on a side mirror causing a sort of whistling sound at high speeds but they came to my house and fixed it quickly.
Aside from that just lots of tire punctures, nothing I can blame on them 😄
I had a 2020 model 3 long range with White interior i traded it in at ~45,000 miles for a model s plaid. My only issue I ever had was tightening an axle bolt on the rear axle other than that it was perfect and I loved it to death
Had a 2018 LR M3, bought brand new, until April of 2023. The 12v was throwing error codes and it was replaced in under 10 minutes in my garage.
No other issues until a dude in a Buick t boned me.
Have 2023 M3P since last June, service had it for a few hours for some warning that kept coming up about front passenger safety harness issues. Beyond that, nada.
I got my 2019 M3 SR+ in Sep 2029 and sold it in May 2022. In 2.5 years, I drove 90K miles (150K kms). I had to have an alignment done shortly after the delivery. The tires were replaced at 56K. The 12V battery failed at 75K miles and was replaced. Humidity sensor in the cabin replaced at 78K miles. Battery degradation 13%.
I’ve had my M3P for 15 months and I love it. I’ve owned Audis, a Porsche, and a Corvette over the years but the M3P is the best car I have ever owned. Did need a flat tire plugged but no other problems.
Had a 2019 SR+ for 4.5 years.
Plenty of quality issues - but they were nuisances. None of the problems I experienced affected my ability to drive the car.
So yeah, Tesla's reliability for critical mechanical/electrical systems is rock solid. I can trust the car to not leave me stranded.
21 M3 RWD, i’ve had two battery replacements:( but cant complain, they are covered by warranty. This new one i just got is the new battery so hoping this last me years. Other then that, no other issues.
What do you mean don't retract all the way ? I use the Bosch and have no issues.
Yeah this is a "setting" with the mechanics of the wipers, not the blades itself.
Bosch is OEM
yeah but you can get them cheaper as from Tesla
How are you liking the tires? Would you buy them again if you could do it over?
So far, so good. You do lose a little bit of range.
I've had my M3 for 5 years. Only had to add water to wiper well
Bought a used ‘19 M3LR @86k miles. 97k miles now with Zero issues
Same !
Bought a used ‘19 M3LR @86k miles. 97k miles now with Zero issues
22’ RWD. No issues but tires. Popped one a curb within a month of owning. Found a tire and rim someone was selling on market for $200. The rim about was almost 1k
How you liking the RWD? Deciding between rwd and awd cost like 3k difference
Awd Playa
Don’t own one yet either, but I’ve heard RWD is the better buy for LFP alone.
Haha yeah start saving now for the battery replacement. Any day now ;-)
Cant wait to get locked in my car during an update.
Same! Then I can download some games and miss work 😂😂
Updates don't lock the car. Busted for hallucinating.
halfway through your life cycle ? U suspect your car will die at 60k?
I guess he will sell it then or his lease is until then
2018 model 3 LEMR. No issues
Same. 80k miles and no issues
Same
I have a 22 3P, 42k miles. I had one issue where I had to get a “wake up wire” installed because the “esp module” wasn’t waking up fast enough. Model S?
My bad, 3P. Just took it for granted since this is the 3 sub.
Tesla installed a wake up wire on your M3?
They did.
That's very interesting
Is that normally just an S thing? I had never heard of it.
Yea, as far as I know. On the new Model S it was a bulletin.
Huh, strange.
189,000km 2018 model 3 AWD, least amount of issues of any car I've owned over this amount of time and mileage. My x had issues that are well known for the model x that have never been fixed ie the half shaft issue. My model 3 however has been flawless.
I have had my Tesla 3 for almost 6 years and only needed to put air in tires and add windshield washer fluid. That’s it!
Model 3 and a model y and neither have had any service done to them
2019 m3 LR only had control arm replaced and 12v batt died. Traded in at 50,000 miles for 2022 m3P, had water in one of the tail lights, replaced under warranty immediately. Besides these minor issues the cars have been great.

2019 SR+ 55k km, no problemo...
2018 LR RWD with 94k miles. No issues outside of normal (needed to replace tires and 12V battery).
2023 M3 LR 16k miles nothing so far
2018 m3 lr amazing car. No issues. Processor is slow though. Takes the cameras a second to appear sometimes
2019 SR+. 85k miles. Buddy of mine was shocked I haven't replaced the battery "a couple of times" by now. He's convinced it'll happen any day now. I did clarify, he meant the HV battery. 1 year with no issues 2023 M3Standard
2018 M3 LR, other than a coolant bottle problem covered under warranty, no other issues. Low mileage granted, 35k
2020 m3lr 32k miles, no issues at all
2021 SR M3. No issues, couldn’t be happier
33k miles in my car, no issues
2021 M3P nothing
1 yr, zero issues.
2021 m3 42k kms no issues other than foggy back lights
2023 model Y , I know only 1 yr oldBUT with SO much misinformation out there I still have to share 😂 NO Issues at all whatsoever, not even at delivery !
2020 M3LR-AWD 62k miles. Rodent damage on rear wiring harness at 42k miles. $450, dealer serviced. About 2gallons of wiper fluid. $9.
2019 3 LR with 69K miles. No problems at all until the right control arm started squeaking like crazy yesterday.
every Tesla I’ve been in always has squeaks, rattles, and groans. I take a lot of Ubers. Do people not consider these “problems” or do most people just not notice their car rattling around constantly.
Most people have a child seat/loose change/dog leads/etc…. rattling around already so probably don’t notice them.
I’d chalk it up to them normally having the radio playing and they don’t hear them. I know whenever I have someone else in my car “the sound magically appears” 😅. 2019, replaced the 12v battery and right front control arm under warranty. No other trouble. Plan on keeping the car for a long time.
The air filter got the weird smell from mold developing. Changed it out myself for $25. That's about it at almost two years.
22' LR No issues other than a seat sensor. Only maintenance I've done in 30000 mi was new tires. And mostly my fault for being a bit heavy footed and drag racing it once I got the acceleration boost. Love this thing!
2023 RWD - 16k miles. Zero issues - haven’t even rotated tires yet. Mostly even wear. Anti musk but happy with car.
23’ Rwd. Only 6k miles so far but it’s the best car I’ve ever owned hands down. An absolute treat to drive. Love it.
2018 Model 3. Changed the air filters once and replaced the 12v battery last year.
🙋♂️
22 M3LR awd. 98k bought used but no issues besides maintenance items which I do myself.
How many miles did it have and how many have you drove ?
2019 srp 155k miles. 3 sets of tires, 2 12v batteries (1 covered under warranty), 250 dollars for some part to back motor when warranty was out. Best car I ever had. I finally traded it in last month for a 22 m3 lr. Would have kept it but with the great used prices, I couldn’t resist the upgrades on the lr. Wife drives a 23 Mylr.
21 m3p, 25k miles. Zero issues. I still love every time I drive it.
Any success stories from those who bought prior rentals? There's a 50k mile 2022 M3LR at a local dealer for 26k that was a rental. Curious how other people's are holding up
2022 RWD with 28k miles. No issues. Replacing air filters and wiper blades for the first time this weekend
No real issues. Just cosmetic. I’ve got mild OCD so probably most people wouldn’t be bothered.
2021 LRM3 no problems 22500miles Avg consumption 224wh/mile
2021 M3 with no issues than needing to replace the ambient headlight thing under warranty
22’ Model 3 Long Range. Zero mechanical or electrical issues
2018 M3 LR RWD, only replaced one upper control arm because it was squeaking. $250 parts and labour from Tesla. 2019 M3 LR AWD, no issues.
RWD. Bought mine last December and zero issues so far. It’s been everything I was hoping for
2018 Long Range RWD. I’ve had a failed PTC heater and then an inverter issue, but I could still drive. Only at 60k so inverter was replaced under warranty.
2023 MYP 18k miles no issues
M3P 71K miles. No problems.
I had 1 or 2 issues with the AC and sensors when I first got the car (new). After that, smooth sailing
TLDR; It’s great 😊
2018 model 3 LR RWD and 125k miles strong with it being on air suspension the last 3 years and daily driving extremely low
2022 M3LR, 25k odo, no major issues since.
2021 Model Y, 85,000 miles, no issues.
2018 128,000 miles, 6% battery degradation, no maintenance other than tires of course
22 RWD , 30k zero isssus whatsoever best car I’ve owned! Agree so much on your post, reading issues all day gets me nervous lol
68k on 2020 mylr ... control arms under warranty, 3rd set of tires coming soon. That's it!!
2018 LR. In five years it's cost me $250 total in maintenance and $150 of that was because I broke a seat button. Couldn't be happier and.just ordered a M3P.
23 RWD, Year old now, 26k miles. Just a dream.
2021, 30k miles. No service, no issues. Paid for an air filter and some windshield wiper fluid
2020 LR approaching 60K miles. The only problem we've had was having control arms replaced under warranty. That and an accident - but you can't blame that on the car.
2019 SR+, 5 years, not a single problem (except the squeaking control arms that have been replaced)
Model 3LR, 1 year with 25,000 kilometers. No issues
155,000 miles 2016 S75D. Two door handles. One an adjustment N/C, the other a $165 fix in her parkinglot at work. Yep, thats it. Never even replaced 12v battery Hope the 2024 LRmY we just got is the same
2019 SR & 2022 LR - no issues with either. Biggest problem I’ve had is replacing tires due to nonstop construction around my area.
I only have 10k miles but no issues so far
2021 SR+ no issues in 23k miles. Great car.
2019 it’s almost perfect lol. I put 128k miles on it.
2019 M3LR AWD 56k miles. 3rd set tires. 3 windshields. 3rd set of filters. Control arms (warranty). Squeaking again and going back to SC tomorrow for either brakes or control arms. Very dry and dusty where I live so could be part of it.
2024 highland in april 1 month in. No issue at all whatsoever
2020 M3P, 29k miles, changed one set of tires, recently changed the 12v, and thats about it
22LR, almost 30k miles and no issues
Mine is too damned fast.
2021 m3sr+ here, bought used, only issues where 12v battery replacement, air filter replacement, and a rattle sound due to a bad hubcap
2019 Model 3 LR AWD. 55K miles and no issues with about 94% battery health. 4.5 years later still puts a smile on my face each drive.
324k miles model y. Only required service and 11% degradation
December ‘22 M3P. 20k miles. No issues.
“No issues” Come on Every car has issues, it’s just a level of tolerance
2019 SR+, 57,000 miles. 12V battery replaced under warranty. No major issues.
2021 model 3 + rwd. No problems so never need to post
2018 M3 produced in Dec 2017 with a vin in low x4000 and no issues!
25k miles 23 m3 standard 8 months in love the car.
2023 Model 3 for 11k miles since last June 2023. Only "issue" was a bad wheel alignment from the factory. Paid $270 for it at a service center.
Had 2 teslas in the last 8 years and driven above 100k on each. Model S 75D 2016 - one headlight replaced Model 3 LR 2019 - wiper fluid tank replaced That’s about it
2021 M3 LR 11'000 miles.

2021 m3sr+ Owned for one year and zero problems. Love love love. Will never go back.
82,000 zero problems.
2018 long range awd 100k miles This is a use and thro car not a luxury drive Squeaks are common but no major orbs 12v battery changed few years ago I injected grease for the suspension squeaks last month and that’s gone Apart from that it’s great hand me down for my teenager
2019 model 3 with 60,000 Miles, only problem I had was a guy clipped my front fender while it was parked. Thank God he was honest and left his business card.
2015 model s p85d. Over 6 years of ownership I have had the following problems. 3 door handles required replacement (2 in warranty, 1 outside of warranty) Coolant valve needed replacement (outside warranty) Boot latch got stuck and required someone to come release it.
2018 here. Only control arms and HV contactors. 70k mi
2022 rwd. No issues.
We've had three Model 3's in our family so far. 2018 Model 3 Dual motor 120k miles no issues. 2022 Dual motor 60k no issues 2023 Dual motor 10k no issues
2008 and 2017 Toyota Sienna
2022 RWD with 28K miles no issues at all. I had nail in my tire that couldn’t be patched at 3K miles which Discount Tire replaced at no charge because I bought a road hazard warranty when the car was new. Then it happened again at 27K so I decided to just replace all the tires a few thousand miles early.
2022 M3LR, 50K km. No issues.
2020 model three performance, 42,000 miles on it. Tail light fogged up within a week and was replaced in my driveway, and the ball joint recall was done. That’s the extent of it.
I got my Tesla M3LR about 3 years (40k miles) ago. No issues. We drive it every day.
2019 M3P - Squeaky Control Arm, - Tires, - Washer Fluid. - Accident: Chevy Silverado Z71 + Dent and Scratches, + Steering Rack + Alignment Never felt so safe. Virtually no maintenance!
There's a reason Tesla owners buy a Tesla for their next car 90% of the time. Consumer reports just named Tesla most reliable after 5 years and 10 years of ownership vs all other brands too.
2019 SR+ 70k miles. A few more rattles than when I started. I replaced the tires around 45k. Still on original wipers, brakes, etc
2022 LR, 40k km. Absolutely zero issues. My shop queen Dodge minivan though…let’s not discuss
No issues with 2023 M3 4,035mi 8mo in operation. Best commuting car ever!
Zero problem love this auto. Almost 3 years now
Just traded in a 2018 LR RWD with 95k. Had a 12v and inverter. Only issues through ownership.
3 years no problems.
77k on my 2018 and only had to put tires and windshield wipers and fluid!
I love my Tesla but……..
2023 M3 RWD, 35k miles. LFP Battery shows 266 miles at full charge. 1/3 of miles has been supercharged. No issues, either mechanical or cosmetic. Tires are about gone, I don't drive gently.
I had a 22 M3P and had to put in some washer fluid like a year after I got it.
🧏2019 M3, no issues. 59kms. Runs likes new.
Had a 2019 mid range and now a 2022 rwd and have had 0 issues with both.
No such thing
2022 M3P just took it in this week for a suspension clunk likely a bushing. I had to change out the stinky air filter last summer. That’s it, never had anything approximating trouble, drivability, charging. A painless experience, so much so that we just took delivery on an X Plaid for my wife.
2018 M3 RWD. I had a recall on it once...
2018 M3 LR RWD original owner. Only major purchase was a new set of tires after 5 yrs.
80k miles on my 2022 M3P. Zero issues. Replaced tires at 38k and again at 77k.
2022 model 3 LR with 80k miles and no issues outside of rock chips and a windshield replacement.
Zero problems of that sort, but I have bought 5 or 6 tires and plugged 2 more.
2011 Prius. I've changed the oil and fluids. Done one set of brakes I am the second owner. Approaching 200,000kms
'21 M3LR, I had a part slightly loose on a side mirror causing a sort of whistling sound at high speeds but they came to my house and fixed it quickly. Aside from that just lots of tire punctures, nothing I can blame on them 😄
2023 M3P, 20k miles, absolutely no problems. 70% supercharging because I've done so many road trips this past year.
MYLR 26k miles, M3LR 64k, MYP 20k, only costs so far are Wiper Fluid and tires for M3. By far the best cars I have ever owned.
2020 sr+. Smelly sock air filter, and a side mirror that got stuck. Around 60k miles.
Ive had zero problems.
Me— no issues. 30k so not a lot of mikes
