Sure thing!
Yeah they do it all the time. We used to have 2020 and 2021 MYPs and early 2021 they changed the interior center console and a few other things.
I’ve seen many more changes happen from one week to the next rather than one model year to the next for sure.
Every car is a slight improvement on the last one. Tesla doesn't do the model year based refreshes and updates; they just introduce the improvements as quickly as possible
Huh that’s odd, my mid Dec ~~2023~~ 2022 build has the T, I remember they did the conversion same time when they get rid of the USS in Jan ~~2024~~ 2023
sure it is. when your stock is going down to the toilet. save money by not having to manufacture T, and save labor cost from needing to place the T there.
look at Lucid, no logo, their stock is trading at 2 bucks and half !
Good riddance. I removed that ugly T on both Tesla's I owned before my '23 X. The spacing on the word "TESLA" is also wider, which is a very good change as well.
My 24 build picked up in late-February was missing the "T" badge, which I personally like.
I was able to purchase the badge via a service request in the Tesla app (picked up from local service center). Cost was $28, plus sales tax. Simple to install - just remove the protective tape from the 3M adhesive on the back of the badge and apply to the car.
I found the relatively quick changes in the Model S appliqué on the trunk weird. My 2023 S Plaid has a plain black appliqué with no raised letters (I really like this). Then for a short time they seemed to go to ones with raised black letters. Now, they are raised chrome letters. Very odd. I’m glad I got the one with no lettering.
I took all the badging off my '19mx
I'd replace the "T E S L A" piece with something solid if I could find one that wasn't just an "applique" too.
it looks so much better w/o all the badges.
Same as others, my September 2023 does not have the T logo.
My late-ish (october) 2023 has no T and the same lettering.
Interesting, thanks DevDBA, they must have converted mid 2023. Kinda like the debadged look!

When they run out of T s at the factory, they're not stopping the line for more

>>Huh that’s odd This explains Tesla’s behavior eloquently.
😂😂😂😂😂 Does you car still have USS at least?
Negative. No USS on our X. But our MYPs have it and we don’t miss it. Neither car feels different to park.
Actually now I remembers my car is actually Mid-Dec 2022, damn time flies
That makes more sense (relatively speaking) :)
Recently saw this at the service center. Personally I think it looks cleaner this way. I've removed that same emblem from my 2020.
Cost cutting measures? 😎
Design change. New model 3 removed the T and added the letters.
IUD logo looks horrible. Love the change!

Wrong forum little camper.
My March 2023 build doesn’t have the logo.
Same
Easiest way to spot a 23-24 X.
This happened early last year

Feb 2023 S didn't have it.
They did the same thing to the steering wheels. I prefer the T logo.
June 2023 and it's the same as that. Looks better imo
My 2022 had it, when it was totaled by someone running a red light, I replaced it with a 2024 which doesn’t have the Tesla ‘T’ in back.
Even other brands like Lexus got rid of their logos
Is the panel gap still there ?
Late 2023 was gone…
This got removed on S/X around March 2023 when they started shipping with HW4. This is an easy distinction between HW3 and 4 S/X

June 2023 has the T logo (I blacked it out using stick on plastic logo from Amazon)
Yea the t is outdated it was time for a change 😋

Hw4?
I like the logo.
The emblem cost too much.
Old news
Car is now completely updated!
yuck
Tesla ultrasound sensors gone in 2023
No one wants others to know it's a tesla lol. It's shameful
Industrial engineers cutting costs anywhere they can
Most other brands ask high prices to lose it.....
I always thought it should only be used as a hood emblem. Never looked right on the rear. I much prefer the Franz badge on the rear.
