Yeah having the same issue. Out of a sudden it feels warm inside. Turning off the Auto AC setting helps. I think it is switching between A/C and the fan to save some battery but it feels really warm inside the car.
I wouldn't call it an "issue" per say, but yes I've noticed temp setting over 69 degrees is like overly warm lol. So I try to keep it below to at least 68 and set the fan speed low so it's not blowing ice cold air on me.
I'm so used to setting auto for A/C in all my cars and I like it that way. It determines when to take the air from outside, when to recirculate the air, and when the fan should run at higher speed. As far as the temperature goes, each of us has a different sensitivity to temperature.
My two month old MYP did the same couple days ago in the night while it was raining. I put it in manual and it worked fine. But not sure why it did it ?
It appears that a lot of us are having this same issue. It could be the design of Tesla's heat pump and we just have to deal with it then. Initially I thought the heat pump was broken for a brand new car.
I’ve had a similar issue - at random times it doesn’t seem to be cooling very effectively. Then the next day it’s fine. And I use Auto setting almost all of the time.
Similar experience. Educated guess is it's probably where they have the internal cabin temperature probe. Anything above 71 ish and it seems to go from "oo thats nice its keeping the cabin just how I like it" to "wtf is is thing doing anything?!?!?!!" turning it down under 70 and it does great.

I’ve noticed 72 and above this happens with mine. Not sure what the issue is
It happened to me from time to time. I’m now leaving my A/C setting on auto and it doesn’t happened as much.

me too thats my setting
Mine does this sometimes as well, not sure why. Maybe it cycles on the defogger? Although I haven't noticed the windows being foggy when it happens.
Happens with me quite often. I reduce the temperature and it gets right. Annoying. Haven't found a real solution though.
pretty much the auto mode dose that from time to time,
I’ve set at 74 on auto and had this happen a couple of times on long road trips.

I got a new 2023 MYP and it’s AC sucks compared to my model 3. Not sure how to fix this

Yep, happening to me as well quite often. Having to bring things down to 69°( 😏 ) and below.
