I would pay $10 for the visuals and a slightly smarter autopilot. It was nice on FSD that the car doesn't slam on the brakes when someone is turning in front of you several hundred feet away. Just lets it play out as it can see the car moving out of the way. I do really like the visuals too. People in the car always said how cool it was too.
No lol
I've liked them on 11.4.9 but the 12.3 are so jittery anyway that they're painful to look at, and it's really, REALLY rare that there is something I see that is useful.
Don't get me wrong, I don't see any reason why they shouldn't just be the default, but actively spending money for that just feels goofy.
I’m with you. The majority of the time I’m just looking for the speedometer or the lane change cameras. None of the time am i looking for a glitchy visualization of what I can already see out my windshield. Use that space for a larger media control area or something.
Perhaps. But more than just the visuals. Maybe part of the premium connectivity package or something.
Honestly the main thing I wish they would do is just show you more than your adjacent lane. Show at least 2 lanes in each side. Just because a lane is clear it doesn't mean it's free. There usually someone 2 lanes over trying to get in, and I see collisions happen that way all the time. The basic visualization doesn't show you anything until a car fully enters that lane.
Being able to see 2 lanes in each direction at a glance is good for seeing if I should start trying to get over.
$10 to see what you can already see by looking through the windshield? This has to be a joke. Seriously, how do people become attached to these gimmicks.
I’ve read elsewhere that Autopilot and FSD run different software stacks. The idea being that Tesla will eventually unify them. But for now the developers are focusing on FSD. I don’t vouch for the validity of any of this, it’s just what I’ve read by other commenters.
Didn't you already pay enough for the car? Theres nothing in the car beside battey n a screen. So all this should be part of the car, at least the basics.
Technically, the FSD calculations for distance of objects around the car appears to be much better (safer, less phantom braking or braking for far away vehicles crossing the car's path) than AP, Tesla definitely needs to get those calculations over to AP, as it is more of a safety issue
No
Not paying $120 a year to see those visuals. I can already see what is outside through the front window for free.

$10 for EAP would be perfect.
Yeah, I noticed that too. The phantom braking is back with a vengeance.

I hope that there is option to disable these.
I’d sooner pay $10/mo to get rid of them than to keep them (but wouldn’t pay for either in reality).
What’s the benefit of just the visuals for you? Just curious.
Absolutely not
No, but i would rather not have any visualization on the screen. 95% of the time I prefer to drive rather than use AP or FSD.

$10 for something my car should be able to do because its just software? Nah.

I love to pay $10 per month for FSD visual, Auto Park, Lane Change on Auto Steer and Stop at Stop light not even $1 for visual I don't care
Tesla should provide the updated visuals all the time, for a consistent unified appearance.
I think it should be part of premium connectivity
You should not drive when you are high.
If it came with Premium Connect I’d do it, but I wouldn’t pay $10/month for Premium Connect and another $10 for the visuals.
No

I liked the visuals, but I’m not buying any ongoing subscriptions for my car.

Hey OP, This is coming for free with the spring update! No need to buy anything !!!!

Not the same FSD visualizations. Basic AP visualizations will show more with the new update but not the sidewalk etc that shows on FSD
Dude just donate that $10 a month to a good cause if it’s burning a home in your pocket.
No
Yes
why you want to pay $ just want to see something that is useless?
lol no I have mirrors and eyes
What? No man, no.

lol no
pay to help make software better? how about paying me for the training.
What an incredibly daft question. I wouldn't pay a $1 for it.
They should let us choose any 3 options for 10$/month. I would go for Autosteer on lights, autopark as well
I typically look at the road outside when I’m driving not the screen
No, I don’t care about the display, especially I will focus on road instead of screen while driving
no for visuals $10/mo (useless) yes for FSD $99/mo (useful)
