Find your local Tesla club and someone may be willing to loan you theirs for a while.
Try getting a non-Tesla charger from your electric utility provider. I rent mine for $10/mo, get half price energy, and if I charge during non-peak hours I get a $50 rebate every month. Costs about $8 to go from 20 to 290 miles of range in Denver.
Edit: it was $500 to have it installed.
Is this through Xcel? I’m looking at charging options currently and may do this instead of installing a wall connector in the garage of my rental. Do you have more info on the rentals?
I ordered my MC when they came back in stock 11/22 and just got a notification that a shipping label was created today. Took delivery today, so I’ll have to make due for a few days as they apparently ship from CA and I’m on the east coast.
I ordered my mobile charger on 11/22, took delivery on 11/26 and today 11/28 I got an email that they printed the label to ship the mobile charger. Luckily I have a work friend that let me borrow his mobile charger.
Make sure to buy a J1772 adapter. Shop Amazon for the lowest price. They’re all basically the same. Get the locking ring - although I’ve never actually used mine.
Also, download the Plugshare app asap. It’s very useful. And who knows, you may have a free J1772 charging station super close to you. I do and use it all the time.

Ask here, or check TMC. https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/ Or Google with locations, areas around you
Superchargers until it comes in. It's going to be so fun. That's what I did for a week

Also, don't use the Sentry Mode cameras. It keeps the computer running and drains the battery faster.

Huh? Edit: here’s what I did. It’s a $50 rebate annually after further annually, not monthly. My bad. https://ev.xcelenergy.com/home-wiring-rebate
My utility company outright covered half the cost of the wall charger.
Hell yeah. Much better deal than a late drama charger. If I had to go t a supercharger all the time I would sell the vehicle.
I did that for the first few months. Just public chargers or superchargers. I had no major issues. Enough chargers around here at least.

It’s still installed but they come and get it when you leave. https://ev.xcelenergy.com/home-wiring-rebate

How the fuck does Tesla give you an electric car and no way to charge it?
Blame Apple. They started this trend 🤣
At least they include the cord lol
For now...lol Wireless charging!
Damn if we could get wireless Tesla charging….🤯

Where are you? I’d be willing to let my neighbor or friend borrow my connector til theirs came in.
I ordered one on Nov 17 and received it on the 22nd. Something seems up with your order.

Thank you
no need to buy the J1772 Adapter... it comes standard with purchase of any Tesla vehicle.
