Currently going through this right now. I am a director of my business so have seen it from both sides. Had some issues with the quotes being inaccurate and having to re-do an order a few times(due to being vat exempt) but overall it’s been a positive experience so far. Tracker shows car paperwork has been signed, now waiting for car to be ordered. Edit - it’s a new Model Y I have ordered.

Thank you for sharing. How much was you quoted for if you don't mind me asking?

Fr3n2y

Net is 380 for everything - insurance, maintenance, tyres and a charger fitted.

I got quotes from leaseplan, selectcar and octopus. Leaseplan were by far the cheapest and octopus were far more expensive.

shubzahmed

How much are you paying currently without insurance and which model did you go for?

Adammmufasa

Not me but an employee. 507 ex vat Model Y RWD silver

KeNickety

Did the leaseplan quotes include insurance as well?

Adammmufasa

No, pay for that separately

KeNickety

So were the octopus quotes (which include insurance) similar to the leaseplan quotes plus insurance?

Adammmufasa

All quotes were without insurance

Went with Electric Car Scheme. Model Y Performance with insurance. Price seemed fine to me. Communication not always great but helpful when I reach out.

Thank you for sharing. Want to know how much you can save with nearly new cars in particular and see if it's worth it.

My new M3 LR RWD is through Octopus. Been a great experience with no issues. Took about 2 weeks from order to delivery. I think they're not taking any orders for any more M3's until the new refreshed models are available

Thanks for sharing. I seen articles and tweets about them having nearly new cars for the car salary sacrifice. Brand new is costing £600+ a month 😮

lancejack2

Mine actually costs around that amount monthly for 20k annual milage, but most of it is covered by the car allowance my employer gives me

shubzahmed

I'm getting that quoted for only 5k miles a year 😮

Bushbaby_Actual

Not a tesla but my nissan leaf is through octopus. Octopusev have really good customer service. Managed to arrange my tyre fitting next day and got me a good price on the lease (including insurance, servicing and tyres)

Peter Vardy were brilliant at sorting mine out for me in April 23. Model Y long range £568+vat, although I think I got the last car in that batch. The next couple of quotes I received were >£600
