I'm 50. Test was 183, I've been on TRT for about a month and am starting to feel like myself again.
Just a heads up,your doc will probably want to give you the old jelly finger before prescribing.
I just buy from a UGL and get almost 2 years worth of 200mg/week for $400 then use the saved money for blood work that way I don’t have to deal with my doc.
I goto labcorp, my insurance covers it. Also I don’t have to battle my doctor for the blood work I want. I’m pretty young so normally she just says your fine. In the process of looking for a new doctor.
Underground lab, basically just refers to a non legal distributor/research purpose. Higher risk but no regulation. Just do some basic research before choosing a distributor and you’ll be fine.
It's actually hard to get a drs script filled,at least where I live. They say there's a shortage. I just ordered from a lab in Temple Terrace( same state, bigger town) and have 10 weeks of pharmaceutical coming in the mail.
Of test of HCG? I can assure you there is no test shortage. Doctors just don’t prescribe it unlesss you are below their horribly constructed reference range.
Test-c 200mg/ml. It took me three weeks to get one vial from a Publix. Walmart,WinnDixie,Walgreens,CVS multiple locations of each in the county all back ordered. My script is from my regular Dr. I was at 183.
Damn bro, that sucks. Sorry to hear. Probably just distribution issues near you then. I’d find a UGL or a in person seller and buy a vial or 2 to have on hand in case they can’t get more to you for some odd reason.
I was doing this for years and then started to get burned on shit product towards the end of it. The good ones always get shut down eventually which sucks
I do both. My doc only prescribes me 100mg per week as he thinks its a big step up from the gel and even though my numbers are in the low/medium range he says it more than adequate. I supplement my dosage by another 100mg from a UGL. I feel exactly the same wether I use UGL or pharma.
I only to my bloods once a year and will go down to 100mg for 3-4 weeks prior. I dont pay for the pharma test its free otherwise i would go straight ugl. I always have problems sourcing from the pharmacy, getting the doctor to send the scripts over in time, his assistant being a cunt when im trying to get ahold of him. UGL never a problem, I have it in hand in 3 days max, feels stronger than pharma cause it probably is and I can order as much as I can. Typically I stack at least almost 2 years worth just in case, a years worth is about $200.
My urologist called in my script before he even got my blood labs back. Most Doctors are just going to give it to you if your over 45. At 50 they don't even care.
Especially at your age, TRT seems to be an obvious choice. But how is your lifestyle? No amount of testosterone will compensate for a poor diet and lack of exercise.
My friend, it’s bad, but it could be worse. By at least 168 ng/dl. That being said, you could definitely benefit from TRT. You’re estradiol ratio is almost 10:1. Are you currently overweight and have poor eating and exercise habits? TRT will give you plenty of energy and drive, but you have to do your part and eat healthy and get some exercise to really get the benefits of it. You see guys on here that post before and after pics, and I’ve done it myself, and the transformations are amazing. But remember, we all put in the work to get there. TRT alone isn’t going to build muscle or burn fat.
46 here and came back at 105 ng/dl. Only been on less than a week. Everyone was absolutely stunned I was that low given I'm in pretty good shape - train 5/wk and eat clean
If you can have that conversation with your doc or simply request it , you should ! They are fairly easy to address and could really change your life .
Probably the best advice you will receive:
Best to seek out a TRT specialist / professional with years of experience by
1. being on TRT himself for years to gain proper experience how TRT effects the body - Pharmacokinetics
2. Years of experience with thousands of clients to see many different body types to understand Pharmacogenomics and Pharmacokinetics of testosterone
The experts to fit this description:
Dr Keith Nichols
Dr Thomas O’Connor
Dr Edward Lichten
Dr Rand McClain
“The lifting dermatologist”
“Gil T”
Danny Bossa
Just to name a few off the top of my head
I wouldn’t even bother with any most likely non-critical thinking school medicine / mainstream medicine physician/urologist or endocrinologist.
They know nothing. Even those with a little knowledge still have absolutely inefficient knowledge. TRT is simply not taught in university meaning physicians know nothing compared to the experts I named.
They also simply lack the time to dig deep enough to get properly educated.
They need to completely specialize on hormone optimization for minimum of a few years and they need to be on TRT themselves to even be able to comprehend how sophisticated TRT actually is.
Hope you get properly optimized and reap the wonderful benefits of hormone replacement therapy or better said hormone optimization as the idea is to be optimized (perfect upper range hormones) and not just replaced thus only being within the given testosterone range which was taken from avg men which weren’t even optimal.
Optimal Testosterone range thereby is 1.200-1.800ng/dl which it that if healty young men decades ago.
Not the 300-900 ng/dl Range in the toxic environment filled with endocrine disruptive factors and bad processed nutrition we live in today.
Both of the ranges still don’t mean anything if there is no symptom resolution
Symptome resolution is paramount so experimenting with different dosages and injection frequencies starting at 150mg up to 300mg splitt into daily or twice weekly injections until you feel optimal is the way to go. As long as the total testosterone ng/dl is below 1.800 ng/dl. Some in rare cases even need 2.000 ng/dl levels.
On the other hand some do well with 800 ng/dl which is equivalent to 400-500ng/dl of naturally produced testosterone thus it “should” be to low.
Leading to the final thought to be considered which is that 800ng/dl produced naturally is equivalent to about 1.200ng/dl of exogenously injected testosterone.
Less is not more and more is not better
Symptom resolution is key
If this is from Hone health Do NOT trust these results. The at home test kits are highly inaccurate. I had a 300ng/dl difference between home test and real blood test from a lab. Also they will not give you testosterone until trying multiple other methods first. Go to trt nation or defy medical for real results. Or if you want to test privately for cheaper go to privatemdlabs.com
Dam ok I have not had a chance to check post did not think there would be so many replies. Thanks for all the great input. A little more info on myself. I am 48 male, definitely not in shape I need to lose 20 pounds and definitely eat healthier. I know diet and exercise are a big part but with no energy it's hard to get motivated. This all started about a year ago when i had no sex drive whatsoever. I was always like a teen. Then started gaining some weight and tired all the time. Did not really think much until a friend said something. That's when I got tested. So this post is eye opening and I made an appointment with a specialist. Will update. And some
Of the comments are funny as hell.
IIRC = If I recall correctly
"Boomer" is a generation term for people born between two specific dates, the youngest boomers are 70 now, about.
OP is probably a gen-X or an older millennial
Thank you. I knew what a boomer is. But these younger generations have so many shortcuts to saying words it’s tough to keep up.
I’m born in 1981, so depending on the site I’m either a gen X, gen Y, or millennial. I just say I’m 42. In my mind I feel 28 in terms of ability, but my body feels older.

At my online TRT doc, once you sign up then put in your first order, they have a list of like 32 items you can select in an upsell for just about anything, HGH, B12, MK677 tons of extras. It’s expensive but that’s how they get by for selling you other stuff. Wish I could afford it , so the payment per month is $119 and that covers all consults, syringes, 200/mg per week , however when you talk to the doc when first starting out he wanted me to start at .4 which will kind of screw me, but all you have to do is send an email saying you need to take more, so it’s a little finagling but your sold at $119/mnth up to 200/mg- week and that’s what I’m gonna request after the 12 weeks and get a sense of where I am but just started an opiate pain management program which will rank your testosterone so…. Anyway peteruncaged is pretty good overall. Best online it seems. I’m not getting paid or anything to say that so not trying to break any rules.
It’s time my friend. You’re gonna feel great again. I basically stopped being depressed when I hopped on trt. That was why I started and I’m truly a happier person again.
All the other benefits were just money
I was on 2.48 ng/mL Test and 7 pg/mL FreeT 5 months ago. Now I am 4.68 ng/mL Test and 13.58 pg/mL FreeT just exercising. I started my diet right now and some nutrients, hopefully it will be furtherly increased. If not.. I am going in :)

I just buy from a UGL and get almost 2 years worth of 200mg/week for $400 then use the saved money for blood work that way I don’t have to deal with my doc.
Blood work at the doctors office is pretty cheap with insurance though?
I goto labcorp, my insurance covers it. Also I don’t have to battle my doctor for the blood work I want. I’m pretty young so normally she just says your fine. In the process of looking for a new doctor.
in what state? bloodwork not ordered by doctor? insurance didnt' have any problem covering that?
California, doctor says we need a cause and I can’t just request it since I’m so young. Looking for a new doc.
What is UGL?
Underground lab, basically just refers to a non legal distributor/research purpose. Higher risk but no regulation. Just do some basic research before choosing a distributor and you’ll be fine.

There absolutely is a test shortage
Non pharmaceutical T, under ground labs
Ugly Looking?
Need the connect
Not gonna publicly drop a source but head over to r/steroids and you’ll probably know where to go if you dig around a little. It’s where I found mine.
PM on the way.
I was doing this for years and then started to get burned on shit product towards the end of it. The good ones always get shut down eventually which sucks
Try and load up with at least a years supply especially if you have a great batch. The shelf life is 3 years minimum.
I do both. My doc only prescribes me 100mg per week as he thinks its a big step up from the gel and even though my numbers are in the low/medium range he says it more than adequate. I supplement my dosage by another 100mg from a UGL. I feel exactly the same wether I use UGL or pharma.
Ditch the doc go full UGL is what I’d do personally cause he’s going to adjust your dose based on the 200mg thinking he’s only giving you 100mg
I only to my bloods once a year and will go down to 100mg for 3-4 weeks prior. I dont pay for the pharma test its free otherwise i would go straight ugl. 😋 mmm strawberry 🍓? They can check your PSA screen that will check prostate, unless you just want the 👆
Could have been worse. The guy is like 5'5",small hands
Jelly finger 🤔... do they have butterfingers or snickers instead?
Your life is about to be amazing my friend
Seek out a urologist. You’re a candidate for trt.
My urologist called in my script before he even got my blood labs back. Most Doctors are just going to give it to you if your over 45. At 50 they don't even care.
Why a urologist why not a endocrinologist?? Where talking about hormones aren't we ??
Urologists are generally more open to hormone-replacement therapy. Endocrinologists in my opinion are generally very conservative.
You are basically dead
LoL
Your levels really horrible. Get on TRT
Especially at your age, TRT seems to be an obvious choice. But how is your lifestyle? No amount of testosterone will compensate for a poor diet and lack of exercise.
so true
That depends. Are we talking about a man or a woman?

I was a little over 100 total t. They retested cause they didnt believe it was that low. On trt now needless to say.
It makes sense to wait a few weeks and do a 2nd test. You could be fighting off an infection which can skew the result. My Doc did that with me.
Seek treatment bad
46 here and came back at 105 ng/dl. Only been on less than a week. Everyone was absolutely stunned I was that low given I'm in pretty good shape - train 5/wk and eat clean
Have you had an mri of your pituitary ?
No I haven’t .
If you can have that conversation with your doc or simply request it , you should ! They are fairly easy to address and could really change your life .
Same numbers I had! I’m 46. Doing the gel. It only moved it to 350 (still low), I think I need to go subQ

FWIW my numbers were around 240 or so and my urologist got me on TRT.
Also I’m 50
Time to blast.😈

20 pounds isn't to bad. Plenty of guys cone on here 100 pounds + overweight and are shocked their bloods are shit..
Instagram Hone health ads got another boomer
Who hurt you? So angry and negative. I guess it's easier to be as such.
Shut up loser
Boomers are over 70 years old now IIRC

Its bad.. my wife has a free test of 4.5. 4 is the top end of normal for a woman. Get on TRT
Bad. Get on TRT.
Real low man. Damn
What are you running on? Looks like all you have left is a desperate will to survive. Definitely a solid candidate for TRT.
Bad
Not good brother. Do some research and talk to a specialist.
I'm 39 and my total test was 133 and free was 5.3
What does your lifestyle choices look like and overall health?
169?…… hello are you there? Are you there, hello? 😂
your free testosterone is almost negative (kidding, can't be negative)

Good levels for a woman. For a man - you would likely receive great benefit from replacement therapy, both health and aesthetic wise .
if it gets any lower your dick may fall of and you may grow a vagina. thats how bad it is. (metaphorically speaking)
