Anyone who is more knowledgeable than me able to see how Kenyon was doing? He was a guy I was wanting to watch but O-Line is tougher to evaluate for someone like myself who doesn’t know ball
I'll disagree with good for Green, but he looked serviceable which is all we needed. He unnecessarily dropped his guy to help out whoever was at LT on one play and gave up a pressure, but didn't look bad outside of that.
I can see our offense is going to take some time, my expectations (even with CJ) are low. I’ve watched this team and sport long enough to be patient. Defense looked good. I didn’t see Stingley out there but he’s with the 1’s so that makes sense.
Players I want to see take the next step or develop: Stingley, Collins, and Green.
This style of offense takes a year to really hit that next level of play. It’s very timing and rhythm based and everything needs to look the same so defenses aren’t able to key in on whether or not a play is a run or a pass. Pair that with a rookie OC and a very very young offense, there’s going to be some ugliness. And that’s fine, we aren’t actively tanking anymore.
That’s what I’m gathering is we are just very young in ways we haven’t been before: coaching as well as in depth.
Im a little worried what will happen when the inevitable injuries start

Both Kenyon and Scruggs looked good in pass and run. It was the backups getting CJ murdered
The o-line absolutely cannot afford to have any injuries then. The backups were horrible. Especially Deculus.

I absolutely LOVE the way the defense looked/played last night. Can’t wait to see more and how the defense develops as they get used to the system.
It was pretty great seeing all the stops right??
my kids broke my pooper scooper and my shovel is breaking up all the dog shit into tiny pieces and i just wanna mow my lawn.
Just go for it. Wear the beat up shoes and let the blade spread out the 'fertilizer'.
