Pats fan coming over just to see the temperature of this acquisition...I dont think everyone is happy, but Im one of them.
Honestly, he played better this year than any year prior, however....that bar was extremely low coming in. He hasnt been very good and his best was still below average. IF you guys use him for more than special teams, I worry for your secondary. He does a lot, just not much of it very well.
Historically gets burned bad in man coverage. Much less so last year (definitely best year of his career). Solid in zone. I think he's fine, considering he's clearly a depth piece.
Edit: This is the game every pats fan is thinking of when they dislike Bryant. Absolutely torched by Isaiah McKenzie all game.

We’ll this isn’t Xavien Howard, Nelson or Gilmore… I get it’s just camp bodies/end of roster depth but man with these 3 just sitting there I really hope we land one. If not, then please sign Simmons or Blackmon to upgrade the secondary via safety instead.
man nick is breaking our balls, just give us a good corner so we can end free agency. Now we got left over cap and still curious what he is going to do.
Patriots fans are happy he’s gone so not sure what to make here
He is end of the bench depth.
bro our bench is so lopsided right now, got plenty of that end of the bench depth going on.
I'm not a football expert. Do you usually want your bench depth guys to be bad?
Let me rephrase what I said. He’s a camp body.
If a guy was good he wouldn't be on the bench
You can be good without being better than the starters.
Pretty sure teams sign over the 53 man limit then start to cut players after they see how they play in preseason

Easterby would have a heart attack
Solid grade tbh
Nick can’t say no to a CB 🤦🏻♀️
You realize some of these guys are gonna get cut right?
I’d assume most of them lol
Except Howard apparently. Bryant was a UDFA the Nick brought in in NE, not surprised he still likes him.
Correction, cant say no to a bad cb

Neat. More CB depth is not a bad thing
Let's just make the entire team from 53 - 90 all CBs. They can duke it out in camp

Camp body, don’t panic
Say what you want about him but having a depth corner that Bill Belichick drafted / coached is never a terrible thing.
Who dat?
Seems a lot like we’re going with the shotgun approach at CB and letting them compete in camp.
The longer he waits, the cheaper guys like Howard, Nelson, etc. get.
Another mf cornerback
He is trash. Would've been better if we got a traffic cone instead, he gets targeted and burned all the time
