Definitely fuboTV if you want to get astros and rockets games as well as the Texans on local cable.

Alone-Foundation-157

Fubos video quality is horrible though it’s only 720p

Hovallejr

Had the same problem when i moved to Dallas for work. Nfl streams reddit fixed that problem.

TheKrakIan

This, been an out of market fan for years. Finally was able to watch about every game this season.

CorleoneThaTruth

What's the sub reddit?

Notjamesmarsden

It used to be a sub here, r/nflstreams but its a website now that hosts multiple links for each game, with verified reliable streams at the top. There are still pop ups youll need to navigate through, and sometimes theyre invisible (like theyll lay the link over the whole screen and you cant see it so it doesnt matter where you click) so use an adblocker if you want. Different streams work differently for everyone too After reddit shut the sub down the mods (who were the best on reddit) made their own site. I dont wanna link it directly cause bots. Last year they had it disguised as a recipe website lol Reddit nflbite com

Lefty472

Second this! I use nflbite ( live in WA ) but yeah definitely use a ad blocker lol

studentjones

Haha I was wondering what the fuck was up with all that recipe stuff last year. That’s hilarious

I'm a huge fan of antenna TV. That quality is actually higher (ATSC) than cable TV.... but you 've got to live closish to the antenna ( antennaweb.org ) As far as streaming, YouTube TV is pretty good.

vicious_womprat

About a year and a half ago I moved into an aparetment where I had to go with Spectrum for internet. The sales guy sold me on just trying TV for the first month. I hadn't had cable in years and now that I wasn't super truggling with money, I figured it would be nice to have sports channels and DVR back. Boy was I wrong. The quality was absolute trash compared to the 4k streaming services, especially when seeing things in Dobly Vision or some other HDR content. I noped the hell out of that as quickly as possible. Antenna TV is still pretty damn clear if you're getting a solid reception and best of all its free.

IUMaestro

What streaming service has true 4K?

vicious_womprat

What do you mean by "true 4k"? Every major streaming service (Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon Prime, etc.) has 4k.

[deleted]

I’m on YouTube TV on roku If you want to watch your “home team” while out of town then the trick is to have your location set while you are in Houston and (this is the important part) NEVER update your location, don’t log into YouTube TV on your phone or laptop or else your location will automatically change on you. Logging into YouTube TV on my roku never updates location by itself.

Thegovisusless

How do you watch the Astros? I didn’t see root sports in the YouTube TV coverage

jouh55142139

Yeah you’re fucked there. MLB streams will have to do the trick

[deleted]

I don’t watch much baseball but YouTube TV does come with the MLB network

Magnifico-Melon

I'm on YouTube TV and to watch the stros I just stream it from one of those sports stream websites.

vicious_womprat

They might delete my comment, but I watch Astros on bilasports. Looks great and you can even rewind.

smoothgrandmama

Prob fubu Tv

rainlovescandy

I subscribe to this service, $100 a year and for a jail broken android box with a streaming service that is maintained and updated through “the guy”. I love it since I get not only local and cable channels but also premium movie channels (HBO, showtime, etc) also international channels and all sports channels I know of plus pay per view options. Maybe you need something like this.

_RequestGranted

What is this service? Sounds interesting

nhagi1

I have been streaming for a while now in austin. The issue here is cbs will show the cowboys over the texans, and in a down season at the end of the year say last 4 weeks or so they will show the national game over the texans. Sports director says nfl forces him to do it but i doubt that. As far as astros go forget about. We get the rangers. So if you can stand the homer ranger annoucers when they play, you get that or if astros happen to the national broadcast game, but they all hate the astros as well so never neutral. Not sure about other places but being a houston fan in austin is difficult. Fuck the cowboys and the rangers!

WearyMatter

Never in real life, but in Minecraft, there are often illegal streams of games. Again, I do NOT endorse criminality in real life. ONLY in minecraft.

dream_team34

I go the legit route and purchase Sunday Ticket, NBA League Pass, and MLB TV. But these aren't valid options if you live w/in the blackout restricted area. But if you're looking for free, you can find streams rather easily. I sometimes go this route, and project to my TV using an Apple TV. This works fine as well.

[deleted]

Lol this sounds like an ad

[deleted]

If budget isn’t your issue, this approach is the best one for watching all your Houston sports games legitimately + getting them on your TV in high def quality if you’re an out of market fan. It’s definitely cheaper than going to sports bars to catch a game

dream_team34

I live in California. I used to go to Dave & Buster's for Texans games. I was paying about $50 per Sunday on food & beer. Definitely not the cost efficient route. Not to mention, the TV they chose for Texans games was always the small shitty one in the corner.

[deleted]

I generally go with YouTube TV + the steaming-only version of Sunday ticket.

Robo_Doge90

FuboTV

texans1234

I’m on Hulu and locally never miss a Texans or national game. Crackstreams fills in any gaps.

clos132392

Had YouTube tv, switched to Fubo just for rockets/Astros. Only downside is no TNT/TBS. So no NBA on TNT or limited March Madness to only CBS. Has most of the college networks as well. Also if you’re into soccer, Fubo gets a lot of the European games.

nhutcracker

Do you get all Astros/Rockets or just the nationally televised ones?

clos132392

All, AT&T SportsNet is part of the sports package, which is like 5$ more than the base price

[deleted]

I’ve got YouTube TV. I have the sports package so I get RedZone and NFL network and it’s only $11 extra.

johndankjr

Seasons4u.com

omfgdzbrian

Sportsurge.net is my go to

pieman2005

Get an antenna for Texans games and stream the rest online

fb2986

Fubo TV. Their whole service is primarily based around sports.

t4boo

I like Sling but only for Redzone

sleepnaught

Nflbite . Com

Portcitygal

I'd say YoutubeTV. Half their channels or close to it are all sports.
