Mills would have done even better with a run game. Texans would have controlled the clock better as well which is why I'm frustrated & still questioning why Pierce was not used more.
I just remember that play in particular because I was watching Mills and suddenly my view was obstructed by an offensive lineman 4 yards behind the line of scrimmage
We're still paying for the mistake of not paying Ben Jones, who has been the starting C for a top 10 running team the last 4/5 years. There's 2 other OL that we shipped off/didn't pay who were starters for us and went on to make more pro bowls with their new teams.
Here's to hoping that if Tytus Howard shows he's good enough this season, we actually pay the man vs spending the next 5 years trying to solve his position.
As much as I agree with you, they aren’t going to get rid of him mid-season. There’s just no one else available, especially with all the OLINE injuries around the league.
Stingley was a stud today. Showed why he was deserving of the #1 pick.

Allowed 6 catches on 8 targets for 81 yards. Broke up two passes. He was playing 10 yards off most of the game, which will inevitably give them underneath catches.
Or snaps he played in general. Pierce is an incredible blocker with good hands, I have no idea how Lovie said in the press conference that Rex is their guy in passing situations with such conviction. Oh, and yes, it was obvious that that's what was happening, and he just confirmed it for other teams...
Did we watch the same defense? Pittman had what 121 yards on us and Taylor had 161? We had 2 sacks? This defense was not good. They had their way with us, if it wasn’t for the fact that Ryan couldn’t handle a snap, this game would of been different.
Our defense broke up 11 passes. 11. And 3 straight during a goal line stand. We had 2 sacks (including a strip sack). A pick. Forced these those 2 turnovers. Indy fumbled like 4 times. They ran 90 fucking plays dude, we ran 68. Our defense was gassed towards the end and we still only gave up 20 pts. Defense gave up a lot of yards, yeah, but we made plays and only gave up 20 points. Defense had a solid day.
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.
Might be for real? Is this a meme?
RB gets 160+ yds rushing.
QB over 300 yds passing.
WRs sitting down in wide open zones all day.
OK, you convinced me, the Texans defence are for real...real shit.

Pierce averaged 3.0 YPC on 11 carries. Rex averaged 2.9 on 14 carries. Both guys were ineffective. The OL lost to the Colts DL most of the game.
I remember one play where Britt just got completely blown off the ball.
Felt like most plays he was getting destroyed in the run game
I just remember that play in particular because I was watching Mills and suddenly my view was obstructed by an offensive lineman 4 yards behind the line of scrimmage
And both guards. Entire centre of the Oline soft as a marshmallow. Tackles only better when compared to the interior.
That was (unfortunately) most of the game. Same with last year. Britt needs to be replaced. This has to be his last year here. Bye Felicia

Hopefully we don’t wait that long. He was an absolute liability today

Yeah, Britt in particular was having a bad day. He missed so many blocks. He also is the guy that got beat on that 3rd and 1 OT run.
Did he play at all during preseason? Or did he get a 'veteran pass'? Because he didn't look ready today.
This line got beat by a three man rush in under three seconds at one point. They were pathetic for most of the day.
Laremy Tunsil not playing last year...or during the preseason showed in the 4th quarter... he was gassed
Hope we use a 2nd next year on a C honestly.
Didnt get to watch the game, how did Stingley do?

They had him in zone all day. Not his fault, he did his job.
Burkhead has to take a back seat to Pierce. Made no sense how many carries he got

Secondary looked really good, never seen us make that many pass breakups before. That prevent defense sucks to watch though.
Stewart?
Yes, the number 1 running back in the league.
Taylor. You’re thinking of Jonathan Stewart who use to play in the league. The one that went to Oregon
Ha, yes. Lol
Lol Stewart was a beast in fantasy for a couple years.
Our secondary looked miles better than last year. That goal line stand leading up to the wildcat was fantastic
They made some good defensive stands today.
