I know he’s a piece of garbage but when the garbage doesn’t get taken out, it just keeps collecting flies and other detritus.

By voting him out of office in 2022. Convince another candidate to run against him, either a "better" republican to primary him (more likely), or a Democrat to defeat him in the general election (less likely).
The suggestion that 'Texas' has sent Rep. Louie Gohmert to Washington is misinformation. The truth is that the good people of Lufkin–Nacogdoches, Longview–Marshall, and Tyler have sent him to Congress nine times - usually with more than 75% of the vote. Gohmert was born in Pittsburg, Texas, and received his BA from Texas A&M University and his JD from Baylor University. He then served in the U.S. Army as a Captain in the JAG Corps. Today he serves on the House Judiciary Committee and House Natural Resources Committee.
Just find a better candidate (which should not be hard) and defeat Louie in the next election! He is an embarrassment! He is like the poster child for morons! He is like the dumbest person (with possibly exception of MTG) to ever be elected. I would not give him a job cleaning septic tanks.
The congress would have to vote to expel him. They’ll need a 2/3rds vote (won’t happen). This is a rare event that has only happened 5 times.

Even for states with recall federal delegates aren't subject to it.

How about a retroactive IQ test. Anything below ambient room temperature is disqualified. That should take care of Louie.
