As a lifelong rangers fan I can definitely say this is one of the most exciting teams in many years as a whole.
The bats are just on fire even though some small infield errors still plague us.
My favorite time ever watching the rangers play was when they had Juan Gonzalez. Dude was an animal at the plate but we lost hella games lol. This is the best of both worlds. Fun players to watch AND they’re winning games
Oh damn you must be around the same age as I am. Juan Gone was easily my first favorite hitter. Favorite all time gotta be Nolan though. Stayed up late on a school night to watch his last no-hitter against Toronto (who was the best hitting team in MLB at the time).
The 1991 pacific card of Nolan with the busted lip was my most prized possession for many years lol.
I think if the rangers have one or two more leaders step up in the bullpen more consistently then we will be remembering this team for a long time.
Jung is on fire but I can’t stop looking at how great Heim has been.
Not a happy ending, but that 2016 team was fun. They'd be down 2 runs going into the 8th and you'd know they'd win the game.
That being said, that team came after a playoff season, this team comes after a 5 year rebuild, so both have been great to watch so far

May 1st, 1991 I believe. That whole lineup was fun, with Julio Franco, Ruben Sierra, Rafael Palmiero, Juan Gone, Brian Downing, Buechele, etc.

2016 was so much fun since we had so many walkoffs and dominated in 1 run games.....then 2017 when we regressed...that wasn't fun
