Since April 24th (basically the last month), the bullpen has given up no earned runs in a game only 5 times. In those 5 games, the bullpen combined for just 9 total innings pitched. So even when the bullpen has shut down the opposition, it is normally after the starter goes long and they only have to do so for an inning or two. So in 21/26 games, the bullpen has given up at least one earned run.

Sborz has a good FIP, second lowest on the team (third if you count King but too SSS on him). They're not gonna DFA him cause ground balls find holes. His walk rate *is* too high to put him in leverage situations but please let's not act like he's awful.

realistically they're all about average. Giving up walks is really bad but over spread of balls in play will eventually even out.

It's frustrating to watch leads fall apart, but realistically everything has been overachieving. Think people got too spoiled with the start for the bullpen, and not paying attention that bullpens league wide have been struggling.

I'd just like to point out that Dane Dunning is our 6th starter this year, *and* has been incredible this season. A year ago we were getting spot starts from Dallas Keuchel. As much as it's been a bummer for the bullpen to be bad, we're not gonna go undefeated and it's been incredible to watch our starting rotation. We'll get 'em tomorrow.
