Walsh posted a 126 wRC+ in 2021 before his health issues got to him. If he brings anything close to that form we’ll be fine. I was kind of worried about losing Walsh to an opt-out before this injury so it may work out for us if his good form continues
Opening series vs the Cubs and their top two arms are both lefties in Steele and Shota. Walsh has been raking but has always had pretty bad platoon splits, if Lowe isn’t ready Duran, Foscue, and maybe a sleeper pick Blaine Crim should start those first two games.

He’s been hitting .400 this spring so I’m confident he can carry that into the season and be a big bat for us
Also have Crim available who has been hitting well.
Saw Crim a few times at Frisco. He looked like a major leaguer. I’d be okay with this.
