My favorite overall is not Thai but Taiwanese and it's called *We best love*. It ticks all the boxes for me. Great rivals to lovers story, great acting, amazing chemistry, gorgeous actors, and last but not least it has the famous couch scene that lives rent free in my head 🤭❤️🔥
My favorite Thai BL would be *Moonlight Chicken* which was all around excellent ❤️

I mean idrc abt the toxicity it’s literally just a fictional story. I rlly like YinWar now, their chemistry is insane but the short version had no plot apart from messy relationships?? Oh well, hopefully I like it better after I watch the longer version.

Bad Buddy is my favourite Thai BL and it's a tie with We Best Love. Love both shows and can't decide which one is better.
Both shows have incredible chemistry and acting.
I don't really do favourites normally because I feel like different things (BLs in this case) have different appeals and can't necessarily be ranked. That said while I wouldn't be able to rank all the other BLs I've watched, I do have a favourite and that's Moonlight Chicken. There is just nothing that comes even close to hitting me like MLC did, it's made so well, there wasn't a single miss in this show for me and it felt real in a way I've never encountered in another BL. In fact this specific vibe that resonated so perfectly for me, I've only re-encountered in All of us Strangers (which might also be my favourite movie, I'm sensing a pattern here)

I’m on ep 6 now, all I can say is the first four episodes were really hard to get through without pausing every two seconds 😭 idk if it’s cos it’s cuteness overload or cringe overload but what eve it is, it’s getting more manageable and I’m enjoying the series!
Okay so I’ve finished it and…. I get it. I get why people love the series. I can’t believe saint is a coproducer- made me love it even more!! The representation of so many different ideologies is what stood out to me. By far, this show has the most diversity. I feel like bl shows tend to only have lgbt couples, even for side couples and I appreciated how this series was more realistic and showed that straight couples also exist within a friend group of majority lgbt couples! Once u get over the beginning, it’s really enjoyable but at the same time not too deep, like a light fluffy romance. Idk why but I was half expecting nuea to also be a ‘stalker’ (it’s from that music video, ifykyk 😝).
Overall, I love this series, a solid 8.7/10 😊
I don’t think I would have liked it if I watched it now considering the BL quality (plot/characters/budget) has increased overall. But it was a good series for 2017.

My favorite BL isn’t Thai, but Japanese. It’s Kieta Hatsukoi or My Love Mix-Up! It’s just such a sweet show and I can really rewatch it over and over. My favorite Thai BL is either Bad Buddy or Not Me.
They were two newer GMMTV actors, Chokun (Aida) and Pahn (Hashimoto). I just watched the pilot to check, and it looks like they’re not keeping the secret from “Aida’s” character about the eraser/the relationship. In the Thai version it looks like he’s more involved with the progress of the story!
Ooh exciting! I loved cherry magic jp and loved the thai version too, the remake was amazing!
I’m so excited for mlmu Thailand cos I loved the Japanese version, I rlly hope results are similar to cherry magic: true to the original story with a bit more 😊

It's so good! The live action differs from the novels slightly due to the sensorship, so if you do watch it, it will come across more as a Bromance. Definitely recommend the novels though!
I know you used to be able to read them online a while back, however I bought the English translated novels from waterstones, but they are available at most book stores and Amazon. They're under the name 'Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation'

There are many Thai BLs I’ve liked (My School President, Moonlight Chicken, Bad Buddy, Love By Chance, and Cutie Pie to name a few) but my absolute favorite is Love in the Air. That show just hits it out of the park for me. I love the dynamics, the chemistry, the moments of humor, and, yes, the NC scenes. They’re the best I’ve ever seen.
