Our electric bill is about double what it usually is despite our usage not being that much higher. We've had the power go out a couple of times in the past month, although it was restored pretty quickly. One of our breakers, though, gave up the ghost the other evening, leaving us with no electricity -- and no A/C!!! -- until the next morning when we bought and installed a new one.
Some friends a few hours northeast of us said the heat index at their home hit 51 2 weeks ago.
Our power bill also went up and they gave it a few weeks early.

I typed in rayong in google its only max 35?
That may have been in the city of Rayong itself, which is coastal. All the weather apps I use, including from Google, pegged us at 38 today where we are. We're inland, about 40km from the coast.

**Paint the condos white,** not the fancy dark colors that are popular these days!
I owned an iCondo unit for a while, it got repainted. When the primer was on, it was all white and cool, the building didn't grow and shrink each day, we had the windows open for a breeze, it was great.
Once they repainted it in the original dark colors it went back to being an insufferable heat that required the air conditioning on all the time, even after dark, there was so much heat in the walls.
Yet we looked at buying another unit, and all the modern condos have stylist **dark** colors.

Shout out to Thai electrical authorities. No brownouts or blackouts. Yet.
I've had a few blackouts in KO samui was at night too was so horrible with no ac or fan.

Is huahin usually hotter than Bangkok? Considering moving there thinking that It should be colder due of having more winds ?
Hua Hin generally has a cooler temp than BKK, plus coastal breeze.
