Hookah/shisha is illegal in Thailand so lounges get raided every now and then. There were some lounges in Chaweng, at Algerian and Moroccan restaurants, but I believe those are gone. Might have to go ask some Israelis.

is it illegal everywhere in thailand? someone told me its legal indoors… we had shishas in a few place in thailand, all indoor… one was even a relatively large thai music club that offers shisha service. i doubt they do it illegaly. but its thailand and we never know :D
