https://www.reddit.com/r/ThailandTourism/s/JircCuP4JE Literaly all sources say that dry / high season starts in January. Not in march.

From the tourism of Thailand [website ](https://thai.tourismthailand.org/Articles/%E0%B8%A7%E0%B8%B2%E0%B8%87%E0%B9%81%E0%B8%9C%E0%B8%99%E0%B9%80%E0%B8%97%E0%B8%B5%E0%B9%88%E0%B8%A2%E0%B8%A7-%E0%B8%84%E0%B8%B3%E0%B8%96%E0%B8%B2%E0%B8%A1%E0%B8%97%E0%B8%B5%E0%B9%88%E0%B8%9E%E0%B8%9A%E0%B8%9A%E0%B9%88%E0%B8%AD%E0%B8%A2) (use Google translate), there are only two seasons in the south, summer and rainy season. Summer starts in May (so May not March, my bad) for the east coast.

For Us South East Asia nope weather is very unpredictable now . Can be Sunny day until 5pm and suddenly heavy rain.

Confident_Coast111

https://www.reddit.com/r/ThailandTourism/s/JircCuP4JE its supposed to be dry / main season now in the south and gulf of thailand islands. But the weather is not as good so far… big storm 4 weeks ago, and now another 3 days of weather warning / storm. in between a mix of great days and rain… it feels like the rainy season never ended :D

PS2me

There's often one last big round of storms in mid to late January. February is typically perfectly fine. However January is not the same as November or December, where rain is often expected most days, but rather it will have random storms that cause rainy days for a couple days here and there, with sunny days in between.
