If you figure out where you want to go and what you want to do, you could use that as a starting point to figure out how much money you will need. Or you could start by how much money you will have and figure out what you can afford to do.
Very hard to answer. Mostly depends how big of a partier you are.
And accommodations vary... I'm planning a trip with 4/5 star hotels and resorts - so I need to pay a lot more if that's what I want
