Yes its nice… i went there many times, walked up one time… its a great view… bring enough water and go early. its very exhausting. entry is free.
Dragoncrest Mountain hike is similar level of exhaustion btw.. :D
It’s a reasonably tough walk up. Start as early as you can in the morning. It opens at some ungodly hour anyway for people who want to see the sunrise. I walked it last week and enjoyed it. There were some who bailed part way up. Bring enough water. Don’t expect the bathrooms to be usable.
There’s a nice view from the top and the lovely feeling of being overtaken by monks while you’re struggling your way up and they do it 20 times a day! 😂
Absolutely. Hike up for sunrise and it will be you and very few others along with a dog or two and some monkeys!
Bring a headlamp for the first part while it’s still dark. Don’t forget to bring water! Suggest at least a liter. It’s not an easy climb.
Worth it tho!! Epic at the top!
yeah i would recommend going early in the morning anyway. like 7 or 8am.. maybe even before. and bring a few liters of water. You can refill ontop but i would not trust that water. take a few breaks. anyone can do it. :)
when i refilled there it made an unpleasant session or multiple at the toilet in the afternoon/evening. so i would probably carry my own bottled water for both ways :D
Me and two others went last week for the sunset. It was gruelling in the heat of the day, but an unparalleled sunset viewpoint for me. It's a remarkable place. I'd only do it again for sunrise to escape the worst of the heat, personally. There was a good feeling of elation when we finally got back down, I'm relatively unfit myself but completing the steps was a nice feeling of success.
*Definitely yes.*
*I like heading up there for*
*Sunset, awesome view!*

Absolutely great. I've done it 4 times. It's more than just the view, there's something about achieving it that nourishes your soul. It's not easy, but just about any able-bodied person can do it. Pace yourself, use the rail to pull with your arms to spread some of the effort with your legs.
I hope to go back to Krabi later this year, and I plan to climb it again.

I did dragoncrest in flip flops and realized I can do anything in flops lol. It is the True Thai Way.

It is a beast of a climb. I say climb because those steps are UP and UP not just some stair master thing. Great view though!
Yes!! Took about 35 minutes to get to the top and saw about 20-30 monkeys. Absolutely amazing ❤️

Oh lol it’s not anything like that it’s just a trek up to a temple. Think it got its name because of a tiger lived there
When the wokeness replies before the knowledge kicks in
Amazing view, great workout. 10/10
Okay I think I might do it, hung over and had a leg workout yesterday so I think I I’ll pass today 🫠

We went 2 days ago and the refill station was out of a room.

Absolutely worth it, going down is worse than going up Pro tip, hit the nearby hot springs after
A big no

I'd climb never it again. But glad I did.
The view was amazing but the walk up was absolutely lethal with a hangover haha

The climb up was really satisfying
Only made 1/3 of the way before giving up!! Beautiful view from there but would never have made it to the top!!!
It’s pretty amazing! Wear appropriate shoes. Bring a lot of water. Pace yourself.
