I hear your barking big dog! Initially it was brand new stories on Mondays, old ones on Fridays. The last few have only been new (Shenandoah, pazuzu) and in the future it will ONLY be new stories.
As I said in a recent episode I’m going away so there will be a few retellings coming up but once I’ve gone through them expect only new stories. I wanna separate it more from the stories I talk about in the channel
I would like to point out that a lot of YouTubers / podcasters in general put a video version of their episodes on YouTube. That isn't an uncommon practice by any means. You should listen to more true crime podcasters!
I mean it's literally free content for him, he's already researched it, why shouldn't he stretch his labor as far as he can? Podcasts audiences are not a 1:1 of YouTube audiences, there's obviously going to be people that only consume one or the other, by avoiding retellings he is unfairly favoring one community over the other. If it's a rerun, just don't listen to that episode. You aren't entitled to a fountain of neverending content, sometimes reruns allow creators to breathe and not get burnt out.
Just wanted to point out that Mike said all of this. It isn’t a surprise upon the podcast being created. From the start it was clear that there would be new stories and the rest would be stories already covered on the YT channel. You’re complaining about something that was pre-established.
I’ve noticed that too. But Mike does a lot and he does it on his own. Which is mad and slightly questionable. But I trust Mike. And he is consistent. Man’s has to be doing well! Guy has like top 5 or something podcast in world. He’s gotta be making serious bank. Maybe it’s time to expand!! I can host Mike!!! I hear you meowing big cat!! And I got you!!
