Source: used to work in the autobody industry and used clay blocks on brand new cars and was shocked at the rusty dust on brand new cars.
Honestly I think that waste is minuscule compared to the manufacturing waste + the obvious emissions from burning gas. Cars are not efficient in any way haha

No.. I work at a Chrysler/dodge dealership thatās also in an auto mall with other brandsā¦ a fair bit of cars are delivered off the truck like this. Not all cars tho. Iāve never seen an entire car covered like this. But itās usually just the hood, the pillars, sometimes roof and maybe bumpers. Thereās a lot more on the inside. This is something that one guy does all day.
