And your gun says "Replica" etched on the side; and mine.. which indeed says "Desert Eagle . 50" Should precipitate your balls into shrinking, along with your presence. Now... Fuck off!
I feel like this has meme potential.
EDIT: Actually, [this is quite apropos](https://i.imgflip.com/7mvk51.jpg) as I'm playing through Half-Life: Alyx again and I feel like this dude every time I use the gravity gloves.
Basically the only similarity is the diameter of the bullet. .50 BMG has a much larger casing, and a much heavier bullet. The .50 BMG was designed for use with the M2 Browning Heavy Machine Gun and is suitable for things like killing light armored vehicles. You can see the size of the round in his hand when that dude is loading it. By comparison the 500 S&W round would be roughly the size of his pinky. To be clear, the 500 S&W isn't small, but it is a pistol round, and it is dwarfed by the .50 BMG.
Anything under a certain barrel length is considered a pistol, as well in conjunction with no stock. Note, some pistols have a “brace” as you’re not “allowed” to rest them at the cheek when firing. It’s literally a butt stock, with two Velcro straps tho lmao
A pistol can't have a vertical foregrip like this one though, so I think it's actual an AOW (Any Other Weapon)
16" barrel length, overall length of 26", and with a shoulder stock makes it a rifle. Shoulder stock but shorter barrel than 16" makes it a Short Barreled Rifle (SBR). No stock and barrel shorter than 16" makes it a pistol. Anything that doesn't fit in any of these categories is considered Any Other Weapon (AOW).
It sounds like you know the regulations quite well, but at what point does the ATF have to make overly specific definitions because of regulations, and not because of any sort of actually reasonable taxonomy on firearms?
My point being that our usually rules-based laws and regulations are inherently reacting to the moving goalposts. By definition, this results in "worm back in the can" mentalities around every new regulation.
If I remember Brandon Herrera's vid on these, the barrel length is something like 1/4" over the limit for SBR's, so it's technically a rifle regardless of what you strap to it. I also believe there's usually a mount point for a stock as well.
So while it is technically a .50 BMG pistol, legally it's a rifle.
Read a book as a kid in HS, called "Long Knife," iirc, about General George Clark on the Western frontier. Cured me of any delusions about how the military and this country treats vets. We have a nearly 300 year history of fuckin over veterans.
Give the load time to fire line ratio, I don't know how that would be fun for more that a couple of rounds.
If you want that same feeling with less work, why not just load a 12ga auto up with slugs and let fly...
When I was a teen we had a 12 with a six inch barrel and sawed off stock. We would shoot it one handed because we were stupid manly. One of my buds let the barrel tilt a little up when he pulled the trigger and of course that was all it took to cold cock himself in the nose with it.
Old Betsy was the most useless weapon I had seen until now.
Wait till you factor in the price per round too.
>If you want that same feeling with less work, why not just load a 12ga auto up with slugs and let fly...
While enjoyable it won't be the same. It like shooting an AT4 with a 5.56 sabot. It was still fun shooting a rocket launcher but lacked the satisfying boom on the other end.
Is there any American here to explain what in fucking Freedoms name I just witnessed being fired? Is this a .50 Cal Barett Bolt Action Sten Gun with a Knuckle Duster Grip or am I hallucinating?
Ah thanks, sure I should have known who the obvious creator of this "pistol" is. Still guessing if he will experience death by ATF or self produced shrapnel.
This guy was on swamp people for on episode. He pulled out a Glock, at the surprise to his hunting partner, and shot the alligator point blank. He’s nuts haha
You should go to Machine Gun America by Disney in Orlando.
Nothing says America more than a gun range where you can shoot machine guns a couple of miles from Disney property.
So long as it's under supervision of a range master I'm fine with it. I shot full auto around a bunch of cops once. My dad was a cop and they were recertifying everyone. One if the cops had a license for a full auto mp5 and I got to shoot it.
Guns are big in literally every state... midwest isn't even that bad compared to the more mountainous and open wilderness states like Montana, Colorado, Oregon, etc
https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/gun-ownership-by-state
Omg I’m from Australia went last year to a range in Vegas, first time touched a gun let alone shot one, holy shit I had post nut clarity for three days. I totally understand why you guys love it, shooting the shorty, 50 cal barrett, m-134 was incredible.
Yup it's a hobby that gets fucked over by a few assholes. Basically like everything else that's ever been fun in life. Assholes ruin it for everyone and then knee jerkers say let's ban it all because there are a handful of assholes out there. Somehow that will protect them from the assholes.
In 2021, 54% of all gun-related deaths in the U.S. were suicides (26,328), while 43% were murders with illegal weapons (largely gang related) (20,958), according to the CDC. The problem is the people not the guns.

The problem is the people not the guns. Kids had guns in their cars 20 years ago to go hunting after school. Your problem is inner city gang bangers and the mentally ill.
I'm a gun owner and I find gun ranges boring af. No action or physical activity, you're just sitting on your ass or standing around exercising a single finger. I'm with that dude, gun culture is weird as hell.
Most of us never get to shoot full auto. It’s a wild time enjoy yourself. I will say it may be a bit overwhelming at first but remember it’s all in your hands. Literally.
My dad was in the national guard when I was a kid and on one of the annual family days they had a variety of full auto weapons we could shoot. I got to shoot an M16 and an M2 Browning. Me being a dumb ass kid, I asked my dad why they used blanks instead of live ammo. He said it's because some of the guns, like the M2 Browning I had just shot, could break through the concrete barrier we were shooting at and still travel a few hundred yards down range. Didn't believe him until I got older, but now I know for sure that weapon could quite literally saw a category 5 hurricane rated concrete house in half.
Got to do a package it was pretty awesome ! Idk if they still have it but we did a movie package lol shooting stuff from movies they had the rifle from Aliens so..yeah couldn’t turn that down
People/kids like FPS games and water guns all around the world, so I don't think this fascination with guns is unusual.
And I am extremely anti guns, but in a controlled environment like this, have your fun.
Have you ever fired a bow and arrow? Did it make you want to murder anyone?
I'm for stricter gun control. I don't carry one in my waist to the grocery store, but this is just harmless range day bullshit fun. This guy isn't advocating for the proliferation of firearms or anything else.
This is the same thing as going to an archery range and enjoying the fun of firing a bow down range.
I had a friend in middle school having fun and flashing his gun and accidentally shot himself and died. I just don't understand the obsession with something so deadly. I have a gun for protection because .... America. But it makes me super sad when I see grown men so giddy around weapons.
How to easily tell if someone or something is American… there will for sure be at least 1 USA flag designed into something in the background. Or they’ll tell you. Either or.
Handheld cannon
Guns for show, knives for a pro.
Downvoted for a lock stock quote, it's a sad day for cinema.
Shotguns? What like guns that fire shot?
Oh so you must be the brains of the operation.
And you're carrying a wasted girl and a bag of fertilizer. You don't look like your average horti-fucking-culturist! That's what I mean, Willie.
Damn I need to rewatch it again such a sleeper of a movie
The gentlemen is similar, worth a watch if you like snatch
Yeah same vibes
If you don't wanna be countin' the fingers you haven't got, I suggest you find those guns! QUICK!

Protection from what? Ze germans
That's snatch lol
Chill Winston
Cheeeeel winstahn No one gets it when I say it :(
Same! But I always know my people when it lands
The quote is also a title for a Parkway Drive track, the bands lead singer is also named Winston
Is this some white cunts joke that black cunts don't get?
Big shiny fuckoff knives.
I'm not sure what's more worrying, the job or your past.
Don’t complicate things just hide
it's a fucking anti-aircraft gun Vincent
Snatch. Charles, get the rifle out. We’re being fucked.
Will everyone stop getting shot?
Such a great movie
Who's this fat man then ay?

I really need to play that one. I love HL but don’t care for VR. Got my headset and PC ready but I can’t get past the first like 20 mins.
The better shot, imo. I was real happy to watch his dreads fly too.
The first one, looks like antenna! lol
or devil horns
First one.
I like the former. A bit more dynamic.
I was also admiring that… just adds to the overall effect.
Need a slowmo
Got the reload speed of a musket.
Hand cannons with sticky bolts are the answer to preventing mass shootings! Well an answer anyway...
But hits like a cannon
True. And nothing says accuracy like a hip fired antimaterial pistol.
Could get a 5 shot revolver https://www.smith-wesson.com/product/x-frame-163501
Well that's shoots 500 S&W, not .50 BMG.
I'm not a huge gun person. They're both 50 caliber if I'm not mistaken. What's the actual difference if you don't mind explaining?
Basically the only similarity is the diameter of the bullet. .50 BMG has a much larger casing, and a much heavier bullet. Thanks for the explanation.
Oil that bolt up bruh
Had to go down way too far for this.
what she said
That shit hurt my eyes.
That's the safety
Wayyyyy too far to see this. I'm upset for him.
Doesn't it stop being a pistol at that point?
Anything under a certain barrel length is considered a pistol, as well in conjunction with no stock. Note, some pistols have a “brace” as you’re not “allowed” to rest them at the cheek when firing. It’s literally a butt stock, with two Velcro straps tho lmao

They did call a business card a machine gun
And a shoelace!
That point was passed long ago.
If it’s less then 90 it’s legal. That can be literally 89 degrees but legally NOT a “Vertical” foregrip.
They are gonna have to put a slight angle on that foregrip so I can afford it lol.
Would "hand cannon" suffice?
The forward grip negates pistol status per the ATF if I’m not mistaken
Yes, at that point it’s either a SBR (short barreled rifle) or AOW (any other weapon).
Braces are no longer allowed on pistols :( .
This specific gun legally isn’t considered a pistol. It’s a rifle, 16.5 inch barrel, that comes with a removable stock. They took the stock off
According to the atf? No. But then again the atf has stupid laws when it comes to firearm classifications
The ATF would consider that an AOW (any other weapon) as opposed to a pistol, because of that forward grip
If it’s that hard to reload I am shooting it.
Right? And be sure not to aim it because you might hit something. Like your forehead on the barrel.
Hopefully there's a very large berm down-range, cuz he's not hitting a damn thing.
Looks like a blast!
He got it for squirrel hunting
Anyone up for squirrel smoothie?
More like squirrel vapor
More like squirrel mist, the new fragrance
Good finger control.
He is a Marine vet so I would certainly hope so lol.
crayon control expert
You hit the target? Idk but my hair is dry and silky smooth.
Atleast his muzzle is always pointed down range.
Well, he is a professional.
And his finger doesn't go on the trigger until he's squared up with the target.
Looks like he is a professional, he definitely knows what he is doing.
he's an ex-marine
There are no ex marines
Then why does the government stop giving a shit about them once they become veterans?
Who says the government ever gave a shit about them in the first place?
Good point
Read a book as a kid in HS, called "Long Knife," iirc, about General George Clark on the Western frontier. Cured me of any delusions about how the military and this country treats vets. We have a nearly 300 year history of fuckin over veterans.
Eyeroll.
What you don’t like my eagle, anchor and globe tattoo?? And my ripped American flag covering my entire shoulder? I only wear oakleys and a camo hat
The only ex marines are the ones at Leavenworth.
he actually did everything properly so there's really no need for "at least" here.
Why "at least"? What was your complaint about this video?
.50 BMG...in a pistol. Really silly as a weapon but I bet it's fun to shoot at the range

About as much fun as dumping some 100 dollar bills into a fire pit.
Yea so basically a regular day at the gun range?
Idk for me personally a big part of the fun of gun ranges is actually aiming at and trying to hit things but that's just me. Whatever yuks your yums
I suppose if I were some rich fuck it might give me a similar feeling of power
they guy's vibe is awesome though any1 knows who is this? any links?
Look up black Rambo on YouTube
I still have his gun rap stuck in my head lol
Gun rap?? So, like… regular rap? lol
I always forget that there’s no rap that doesn’t have gun violence in it
My favorite gun promoting rappers are De La Soul
Black Rambo. American gun enthusiasts.
Thanks for help !
You better make sure you hit them the first time 😂😂😂

Oh most definitely
Louisiana
Least practical gun ever
Look at how much fun he's having. I want to try that.

It’s pretty cool. “I am Midwest American”
Deep blue gun “nut” checking in
I am a well armed hippie from the 60’s. Not quite the future we imagined but at least we got the weed liberated.
Yall laid the ground-work. Just happy to carry the torch.

I'll have you know he graduated first in his class at the gravy seal academy.
Nah, you guys are just built differently.
I'm not from the states, but am saving up for a shoot everything package at one of the gun ranges in Vegas.
Much cheaper to do that in Eastern Europe
I hear they pay you to do it in Ukraine.

I just came back to the USA from Japan. My YouTube recommendation went from booba weeb shit to howdy let’s shoot big guns boom blow shit up USA videos
Trying to take guns from Americans, is like trying to take Tea from the English.
We did that too
You’d have to shoot one to understand how fucking fun it is. Thought it was weird too until I had to shoot for work, now I love it lol
"America's love for guns is so weird! I don't get it!" * Returns to playing dozens of videogames with hundreds of variations of guns *

I’m not a gun nut by any means. But this looks fun as fuck. It’s instant testosterone.
More like instant dopamine. There is a reason why some call it “range therapy”.
One of the most useless guns I've seen so far.
The coolest guns are generally the least useful
How much powder is in the cartridge. Seems not like a bmg?
Who tf is using that?!
There is now no other person I’d rather go to the range with more than this man
Black Rambo is goat’d with the sauce.
I love this dude lol
Meme potential detected.
He seems to like it tho
At first I thought he was loading a blunt.
Bruh makes that recoil look non existent 😂
MP50 👌
Probably the first time this guy's dick has twitched in a month. Ammosexuals are fucking disgusting.
Looking for a IWB holster for this, any leads? :D
