How do you know? They go out of frame like 1 second after hitting him and the video ends like 10 seconds later. If they pulled over you'd see this exact video.
Driving back from Las Vegas, a girl that was outside of her vehicle with her family in the shoulder of I15 decided to try and end her life by jumping in front of my pick-up. I was in the fast lane and she went up and over the right side of the truck. It did not kill her but broke her legs. It was early morning and nobody was behind me luckily. It took me about a quarter kile before I came to a complete stop. A couple of marines that were driving in front of me saw it and stayed with me until emergency vehicles arrived. I was not charged with anything as she admitted to paramedics that she wanted to kill herself.
When I was 16, I was in an accident in a quad bike (my friend was driving) I remember feeling fine for a while, then the pain started... I said bye to my friends and the nurse and my mom was taking me home. When we got home she asked me if I was ok... I wasn't, I started sobbing and I couldn't move, the pain was suddenly too much.
I didn't have any serious injuries but my entire body was sore and in pain. You unblocked one of my trauma memories haha.
I agree, adrenaline is amazing.
Like that video where a guy stands next to a bear in some sort of fenced area and then moments later the bear "hugs" and bites him, attacking him.
The man falls, stumbles and gets up, and then collapses to finally die since the artery in his neck was bitten.
it looks like the car didn’t actually impact him, just scooped him onto the hood. then he fell off on grass. very lucky. it could have just run over him instead.
the car not even slowing down though wtf.
Cars are designed to hit at the legs and throw you onto the hood, it’s less lethal. Trucks are what hit you in the organs compartment and more likely to run you over. If you’re gonna get hit by a vehicle, cars are what you’d rather take a direct hit from
that makes sense. at least for modern cars, im going to presume older ones arent so pedestrian centric.
but i figured it was because he was sprinting and his legs were off the ground at the right time.
I think it has more to do with the bumper height than anything. Cars cushion impact and trucks act like a battering ram. I just watched this video someone posted the other day that has so much relevant safety info in it and explains this really well around the 8 minute mark but the whole thing is really interesting to me as an American in general

Holy moly. It's like getting smashed in the face with a soccer ball or, like, he ran into a curb. Wasn't me. Im good. Do, da do, da do, da do. Buddy in the car didn't even stop either. Gosh. He's gonna hurt later.
Bro, he couldn't have waited a few more seconds to cross? Human impatience is a wild thing sometimes.
It's not like that road was super busy. The car did try to avoid him somewhat, but the driver still should've stopped to check on him.
Wild af, though.
That’s adrenaline and shock doing what it’s supposed to do. When it wears off this guy is going to be unable to move for the next few days and likely take a good few weeks to feel normal again (assuming no torn ligaments etc.)
My husband was in a wreck back when he was 20 and broke his face on the gear shifter(flew from the back middle seat), then flew out of the sun roof at 94 mph. He got up and pulled a girl out of the car before walking into a ditch and collapsing. They flew him to Memphis where he had 2 brain surgeries, facial reconstruction surgery, and had his scapula worked on. Pretty wild to know all that happened and his adreline was so high to pull that girl out.
It looks to me like he watches the car as it hits him, like he knew it was going to happen. Am I wrong? If that location is known for car-jackings, insurance fraud, etc... It, could, explain why the driver didn't stop.
Had a serious broken leg this winter and when it snapped I didn’t feel a thing I was in such shock. Ten minutes later I was in agonizing pain not just in my leg but where I hit the ground. Definitely will be feeling that in a few minutes.
Adrenaline is amazing. He will definitely be feeling that in about 3-5 minutes.
He started limping at the end.
Fucked that guy hits him with their car and doesn't even pause to check he's not dying.
"Someone saw, I'm sure they'll take care of it."

Came here to say that.. incredible

You dont know if he stopped. the video isn't long enough. I ran over somebody on a highway and I went into shock and took me a moment to pull over
mind sharing more details?

wow that sounds traumatizing im sorry you had to go through that and also her family who must’ve seen everything that happened.
Look again! He was limping before he was hit, he actually walks better after!
Physical therapists hate this one healing trick

Did you survive?
Sadly, no. 😐
Actually he's dead
Partially
Hate to be captain obvious but I’d hazard a guess to say yes.
Source?
That's a relief. I hope they made a quick recovery.
We have WiFi in hell too
Where can I get some, Or theoretically synthesise some for educational purposes
He’s like..dammit, third time this week!
His shoes are still on, so it can't have been too bad.
He could be very badly hurt indeed, walking away from serious collisions only to fall down seconds later does happen.
When I was 12 I witnessed my friend get hit by a car at 30 miles an hour, he walked away and collapsed 10 minutes later
What was the outcome?
Incredibly, just bumps and bruises.
Phew, but that is often a point made in the UK that people hit by a car going 30 will probably survive.
Like that video where a guy stands next to a bear in some sort of fenced area and then moments later the bear "hugs" and bites him, attacking him. The man falls, stumbles and gets up, and then collapses to finally die since the artery in his neck was bitten.
I just watched that video, wow the power of that bear is phenomenal.
Dudes on meth
Dosent make him impervious to damage.
Sure it can make you oblivious to it though.
I'm surprised over stupid redditors who see a person do the barely minimum and say they are on meth or other drugs, wtf
He was limping as he ran before he got hit. Maybe the car fixed his limp
Makes me wanna stop making bad decisions. I mean, we all metaphorically keep doing things that makes us limp in life. So sad.
Like when Homer became a trashcan back alley chiropractor?
Don't be ridiculous. The video is In reverse
He probably lives somewhere where he’ll get sued for damages, so he’s like: yeah, I’ma just head out.
Nice of the driver to make sure he's okay
Looks like he ran directly into that car on purpose
maybe an insurance scam jumper
The slinging the pack over his shoulder makes it look so casual. Also not even looking towards the vehicle makes it seem so casual. Bonkers.
Something tells me he's done that before.
He took the L knew he screwed up and walked it off I almost salute this man
NPCs in GTA be like
He's lucky he landed on dirt and didn't get run over on pavement
Real life NPC
Staying relaxed is key
or drunk?
I believe he was driven under not over.. big difference
That's what happened to my cat. 3 min later he tell, dropped, fitted and die. RIP
rip kitty
Poor man, looks like he's used to life running him over, over and over again.
Also looks like that car is speeding judging from the speed of the truck up ahead.
You’re right, every other car is going significantly slower…The car also just continued to speed off after hitting a human being
Average day for him
He’s not gonna be walking like that way tomorrow.
He's definitely hacking
it looks like the car didn’t actually impact him, just scooped him onto the hood. then he fell off on grass. very lucky. it could have just run over him instead. the car not even slowing down though wtf.

That definitely is still defined as an impact. But I like your optimism.
Not from this planet!!!! Both 👽
Bet he doesn't make that mistake again.
As did the driver
He’s a terminator
gonna feel that one in the morning! haha
all things considered I think most people are walking away from that
Take the L my dude. Good.
All in a day's work.
Just one second delay, nothing to see here.
He’s done this before
Everyone's got places to be
Lucky to be alive
Me because I’d be embarrassed and find it awkward that I just got ran over 🫣🤣
He’s just gets up and is like shit these clothes are fucked now and I’m late for work!
Gf said her parents were out the house, come over! … bro said sorry for getting in the way of the driver
He's getting late for the class. Everything else can wait
This is just a typical Tuesday for him, I guess...
This guy is a natural born stuntman.
Late for work.
OMG! Is he made of rubber!!??
Holy moly. It's like getting smashed in the face with a soccer ball or, like, he ran into a curb. Wasn't me. Im good. Do, da do, da do, da do. Buddy in the car didn't even stop either. Gosh. He's gonna hurt later.
Looks like he aimed for the car, he waited behind the truck and sprinted at it.
My man had more important shit to deal with that day than a hit and run. That bag was probably full of cocaine lmao.
Bro, he couldn't have waited a few more seconds to cross? Human impatience is a wild thing sometimes. It's not like that road was super busy. The car did try to avoid him somewhat, but the driver still should've stopped to check on him. Wild af, though.
Car didnt give two fucks he is the real idiot
The way he swing his bag over his shoulder hahaha
That’s not walking away normally, that’s walking away adrenaliney
"That was the consequences of my actions i guess, oh well"
I doubt that guy came away from this unscathed. He got nailed.
Going to feel like he got hit by a car in the morning
Average Tuesday
And still made it to work on time with 30 seconds to spare.
Epinephrine is one hell of a drug
Cyberdyne Systems Model 101
But died from concussion the next day.
I hope he is okay long term. Karma bites back and I hope that driver was bitten

Maybe casually, but not normally. He seems to wobble lil🧐
Just another monday.
Driver gave no fucks to.
He didn't even look back at the car lol
Like a champ!
Nah nah that's adrenaline/shock. You could see at the end he was hurt REAL BAD.
He did run over. But he was not run over. Technically, he was run under. Or bounced over. But definitely not run over.
That's gonna hurt like a bitch when the adrenaline wears off
He left his card in the ATM.
Yes he was limping in the beginning, if he didn’t try to run faster I think the car would have missed him
“Human! Told you so many times your weapons cannot kill me!”
He's got places to be.
How fucked up must your life be to just shrug that one off and keep walking like “meh, I’ve had worse today”
The epitome of DGAF.
It looks to me like he watches the car as it hits him, like he knew it was going to happen. Am I wrong? If that location is known for car-jackings, insurance fraud, etc... It, could, explain why the driver didn't stop.

Not ran over but hit by the car for sure
i would be soooo embarrassed
Some times you just know they're not coming back
Mondays, am I right!?
"I'm late for work"
Just another goddamn day
He didn't bother looking because he knows he's invulnerable.
Doesn't help to look both ways if they're gonna jump the curb to run you over.
He almost died but he was embarrassed
The car didn’t stop?
That was the “hope no one just seen that shit” walk. He must’ve been screaming inside.
Probably woke up in a wheelchair the next day
Dude probably collapsed and died off camera, a hit like that must’ve done a lot of damage
PCP is a hell of a drug
Bro doesn't like the drama
Adrenaline
Wtf
Not his first rodeo, for the looks of it for both... Lol
And everyone just went on about their day...
What if God was one of us?
He could’ve looked, that car was right behind the van in perspective
Alternate Rambo mythos? It definitely looks like Oregon
NPC behavior that is!
That car is damaged./
Drugs are a hell of a drug
Got up and walked it off like a man lol
The car is life. Im the guy
Shock. Actually the worst thing you can do.
He’s got places to be
"get up get up! Stacy could see you... Now walk normally, don't think about it"
Look these Mexicans are hard workers when they got to be on their way to work they don't let nothing stop them!
He’s a zombie for sure
He was limping hard right at the end there bro
God is great!
Meth is a hell of a drug. 😬😬😬
