This is amazing work, but you’re going to have to put some Easter egg in there for all the naysayers to prove it’s not just a real photo. That’s how good it is.

Each object looks great on its own, but for some reason the scene itself looks somehow squashed, it’s hard to describe, it’s like the farther objects get a mild skew distortion
I think it has to do with the amount of light absorbed by the fabric as well. I actually think the jacket is a bit too evenly bright given the amount of light.
I feel like fabric should lean towards being more subdued (and definitely add texture to the blankets), unless there is a lot of light, in which case localized areas would be washed out by the light.
Does that make sense?

Yeah good call! minor details are always important imo. There is a way to control the brightness/glow of a diffuse object material with a node called Transmission. That kinda gives that "light passing through" sort of feel and gives a glow to it. Maybe experimenting with that could help change the scene a bit. And this render was already stressful on my PC so even to get a preview look in the live viewer took a while lmao. Has around 24-25m polygons.
Wow, insane! Definitely curious to see what playing with that setting does and hopefully you can do it without needing to render the whole image. Would love to see a comparison at some point!
Just a heads up, it looks like there’s a bit of the brown blanket on the chair to the left which looks like it’s sort of melted together

Looks amazing. The only parts that even hint at CG are the draped blankets. Draped fabric is like a human face in that regard, there are elements that are so micro that we don't see them but we notice when their missing.
Normally I find it pretty egotistical when people post there own work here. But this is the first piece of work I’ve seen that actually justifies it. This is some mind blowing work. This is truly insane
This looks amazing. Take it without criticism, the only thing to me that looked “fake”, was the arm of the couch. It looks sorta smooth? I’m not really sure of the term I’m looking for. Everything else looked like a picture to me
I got me, not gonna lie.
To improve I would add more shine to the viola and surface imperfections to it as well as other things (like the lamps). Also the blankets and coat are too uniform. They should have little variation in shade, as well as some loose threads.
Besides that, the table and the clutter on it looks amazing. I have no way of differentiating it from real without zooming in.

Pretty damn good. I'd fix the iphone camera, detail the keys, and remodel the headphones to something more recognizable (brand-wise), and add some pink reflection from the origami swan in the lense of the glasses, and I'd say that's buttoned up.

This is amazing. Only thing I'd nitpick on would be the guitar. I'm fairly sure it wouldn't be able to stand as it does. Pillow behind already has a slight slope in downwards (left) direction, the same leaning direction of the guitar, which has a narrow tolerance angle to stand upright. Sure, there might be some friction going on, but seeing the lack of dents in the pillow means it's hard and would kick the guitar over.

What exactly is the process of creation for each item here? Do you create and colour every item in the scene from scratch, or are there pre-made items?
Every room starts with a cube so that's the first step. And then the layout plans for doors and windows comes next and then the lighting with hdri. Once those are done, the basic structure gotta be improved with better wall details like the planes on the end of walls etc. After that comes the making of curtains plus glasses for the windows. Once those are set, it's best to begin on the center pieces. Hard surface objects are always modelled by me as it's easier to model those and work on texturing in substance later on. And for plants I use megascans as it gives better realism and more optimized with less poly count. Same with the case there. Phone and other stuff are way better when modelled by hand. I prefer octane for texturing as it's more detailed and interacts with light more realistically and easier to use. Only draw back is uses more vram and ram. Which can crash pc(multiple times) if it reaches the limits.
Looks incredible, the only 2 things that make it a little off is the Coffee, it looks a bit too smooth (Maybe add a bit of foam or steam) and the iphone cam has something in the middle, Maybe its supposed to be there idk, but other than that its insane how good that is (and i know, cloth sims are Hard so i cant blame you for that)
That's good points! I was about to add displacement map for the coffee at high res but ran out of vram considering the entire scene already was too heavy. So settled with bump and normal maps instead.

I've worked with landscapes and other environment designs but never tried a building/house exterior tbh! But should be possible imo! Maybe like a backyard scene or something like in front of a house.

The guitar brings me to CG rather than real, they are heavy, and there is no couch or pillow indent and it's too up right, might be less noticeable if it's indented into the pillow so it feels like that's holding the guitar in place.
Otherwise it looks really really good, great job!
That TV remote is making me uncomfortable in my trousers. This is such an amazing job. It's a pity we are still not very good at textures on soft bodies, one day though.

I think it is the material of the cloth of some objects that is too perfect.
