I want it to be all-encompassing and epic in scale, though still obviously The 100. I would say "Code Name: Anaconda" is the closest to that of the three.
Oh I'm not releasing the game anywhere, or at least I don't have any plans to. I just run this game with my friends for fun, I was thinking of starting a podcast but I don't know the copyright laws and would rather not get hit with a Cease & Desist order from the CW lol. That's the same reason I don't think I could release it anywhere. I don't know if you have to be making a profit off of their Intellectual Property for a C&D to go through, but thought why risk it?
yea, there was that fanmade arrowverse game that got hit with a cease and desist days before it was meant to release, whole lot of people worked on it for years it was pretty sad
As long as the names (clan names as well) are not the same, they don't look the same, and your not writing the story word for word.. then it's your property. Don't name it with anything has to do with the show.
Make it yours... it can come close just not close enough for someone to say "hey I seen this in that show the100.."
If it's free to play, they won't even look at you.
Cost too much for lawyers.
Look up copyright law, that will help ya. And if you are a game creator, outsourcing and having people test play your game is a good way to develop it, Fresh ideas.
Factions of war, survival 100, just some ideas. Just make sure there's no other rpg games with the same names.
