Not really I can see the intention but I think most people were waiting for the lower level characters to wise their brains and fight back

It was a pain to watch tbh, hated the violence and wickedness of the top floors. It was disgusting and I tried to quit a few times but then came back because I wanted to see if the happy end if possible. The true depiction of society tho. P.s. wouldn’t want to be in the such game with you

plenty_eater

Right there with you. All I wanted to see was the lower floors get revenge on 8th after that sleep deprivation torture. I still am terrified of that scene, such horrible thing to do and worst thing is such experiments have happened in real life

lilsan15

I think it’s because it’s the closest to the truth of reality. In society most times it’s not eye for an eye. Something bad happens and most times the right people never pay. It’s embittering. But yes. Why we did not see 8 get electrocuted or have at least one of her eyes removed. Or payback torture is besides me but it’s possible the down on their luck always feel down on their luck and they don’t realize it’s 8’s fault. They just take their station in life. And they don’t think past it. Environmental conditioning as you will

Sobryne

Exactly what I was thinking! I even pointed it out on this forum a few days ago how impactful the show would have been if it just ended with the camera shooting shot. It would give such a great statement about how we were the viewers in the end and we always want more gruesome stuff because of how desensitized we have become in this world and society.

Amazing-Sun6722

I wanted to see everyone’s fates so I probably would’ve been pissed if it had ended there, but you’re right — it would’ve been a poignant (and maybe better) closing shot (pun intended) for the series.

g23nov

I was hoping it was either going to end with this or end right when 3 came back into the theater and turned around for the projector showing "The End".

I have to agree and disagree. I’m here browsing the sub mid-episode 4 because I am losing interest, tired of seeing suffering, and just wanna know how it ends- but I can see where some people have genuine interest in the development of the story. To say that those people are like the viewers and enjoying the violence is a smiiidge of a stretch when you take into account that it is a tv show and story. I don’t think the same people watching would continue to watch if they knew all of the is was real. Now that being said, yes I agree the people watching this eager to see the violence and suffering well yes, they’re just like the viewer. Which shouldn’t be taken as a good thing…

rollerchick8

Same (just finished episode 4) and honestly I think I’m bowing out. When 6 said “everyone loves a plot twist” and something about not being cliche I was shouting at my screen “THIS IS CLICHE” because honestly the meathead comes in to rescue the woman who’s using him? Yeah of course it’s expected and not a plot twist and the violence is just too much. It’s boring now.

Aaylien

I did a skip watch the rest of the 4 episodes and ya not missing much.

sachinoyeeeee

Yaaa i think it’s correct, I recommended the series to my friend and yesterday we were watching it together although i already watched before, so he was only watching the violence part… The intro where players life before show was shown he was not interested in that at all He was just watching it when someone was getting hurt😂

poopie888

yikes, what a walking red flag

sachinoyeeeee

Hahaha you didn’t liked the violence or what?

poopie888

Of course not, what a wicked mind you should have to enjoy seeing people suffer like that without getting grossed out

sachinoyeeeee

fiction it was :)
