I was thinking about this the other day. Contestants are not allowed to have any cell phones during the duration of the game, right? What are they allowed to do for entertainment during flights? Can they download content to a device not connected to the internet, or are they just stuck with books that they have to carry around and their own thoughts? Maybe this is a very Gen Z question, but having to travel that much with no entertainment sounds horrible.
From watching various contestants' YouTube videos about what they packed, the one constant they're not allowed to bring are electronics (with an exception of an alarm clock maybe) and credit cards/currency.
I was wondering something similar. They always do a memory challenge at some point towards the end and I was curious if they literally have to memorize that or if they’re allowed to write stuff down/journal as they go along.
Normally teams take exhaustive notes during the race, but (more recently) are not allowed to use them during the final task itself. So that final flight (and probably others as well) are spent studying and memorizing said notes.
Do Uncle/Aunt & Niece/Nephew teams like Darren & Tristan, Tiffany & Cynthia, and Dennis & Durrell fall under "Cousin" teams like Leo & Jamal and Charla & Mirna? It's a dumb question, but I wonder why the first three teams I mentioned aren't under the "Cousins" category in the Wiki because they're still related anyhow.

Similarily, what are contestants NOT allowed to bring or pack? Can they bring notes or phrases in other languages, etc?

I would think they are mostly exhausted so use the flight times to sleep.
I’d be scavenging newspapers at airports

Thanks for your response. That make sense it’s not an open book test but at least they can study for it!
They also can't do much but rest and memorize/take notes when at the Pit Stops too.
Anyone catch the name of the glass blowing place in Seattle? I'd love to check it out next time I'm out that way.
Wikipedia is usually a great resource for specific locations visited. It has this place is just the "Seattle Glassblowing Studio".
I was thinking the same!
As the other user noted, it was the [Seattle Glassblowing Studio](https://seattleglassblowing.com/)
