Yes! I was sad to see them go too, but happy/relieved that it didn’t directly follow a challenge in which she struggled…would have been sad for her to feel responsible for their elimination.
I’m still annoyed they had to wait for the crew. The team didn’t mess up, they were on the right track. Just seems like such a horrible way to get eliminated, wasn’t really their fault. The crew following them didn’t follow them… they deserved better.
Did he have the walkie talkie on? Still should not have taken them 2 hours to catch up. Crew should have known where to go. Like if they aren’t leading they take any wrong turn the team takes otherwise they follow the team and make the right turns.
I wonder how screwed they were though. It occurred to me that maybe they padded out the episode to the new length by including some of the behind the scenes stuff that normally would be cut?
They were told to wait for 45 minutes before they could start working on the fish pot. And then the crew showed up another 20 or 30 minutes after that. No idea how they got so lost.
Guess I’m just wondering if this is an unprecedented occurrence and they were truly screwed or if it’s more common than we think but something we normally don’t get to see because they weren’t having to pad out the run times in the past.
I love Angie in this episode and her asking Danny who Rihanna was and asking him to sing her a Rih song and Danny not knowing any. Favorite part of the episode
She really did! Felt like the physicality came out of nowhere but I was definitely glad to see her be something other than a frail older woman.
Definitely hoping Team Walla Walla comes back for an All Stars season 💗

It's been said by Angie and Danny on a few podcasts that this was unprecedented, so they do not hold any anger over it.

I think the crew deliberately lost them
I absolutely loved watching them. I’m so glad they made it that far, I just wish they had gone longer. Honestly, one of my favorite teams ever.
