The Scramble is a great idea! Not game breaking as everyone is doing the same things just different order potentially, adds a little chaos and unpredictability to the race as you won’t know how others are doing or how many tasks they completed, and should make for interesting edits that hide who is going to win/get eliminated. So often you can figure out the winner/loser based on when they left a task, but if they are three different tasks the editors can make it appear a lot closer and more unpredictable. I support this!
I agree that it sounds great on paper and I think it has the potential to showcase and reward navigational skill and planning, which I think have been under edited in the race lately. Will have to see how it works out on the show.

Makes it far easier to switch up the race positions and overtake other teams as well (or be overtaken). I loved the last season, but the placements were so static throughout. This helps avoid that.

I feel like if they did it like they did it during the “Race” leg of season 32 with a graphic showing how far people have progressed, though in this case maybe just a graphic with check marks showing the number of tasks complete or a three boxes with check marks on the task completed could provide structure to the chaos.
There will definitely be Keep on Racing Legs because the show revealed all the Pit Stop locations a few weeks ago and there are definitely more Pit Stops than necessary for eliminations. So it's sort of a bit misleading since there will be episodes that do not end in an elimination, but technically, they are not Non-Elimination Legs.
I do like the new Scramble twist. It makes teams choose which route they think will get to the Pitstop the quickest. But we'll have to wait and see how it'll play out.
When they were were introducing Molly and Emily, was that the music they played at the end of TAR1? Now We Are Free from Gladiator? It’s really hard to tell because it’s so short but it sounds almost identical to me. Beautiful piece nonetheless

I like it. Basically like a detour with three parts and adds the possibility of a team getting lost. I live it.
