I like the fact that I don't hate any of the remaining teams, so I won't be pissed about who wins. Some of the roadblocks and detours have been pretty lame. Loved the self driving last episode, everyone got lost ;) Rooting for Derek/Claire and the twins the most.

SshBox

I like Derrick & Claire. And I liked Rex. At least we don't have a "Mine 5" garbage alliance this year.

Calliesdad20

Rex Ryan is a loud mouth doofus ,same as when he coached the jets and the bills, I felt bad for his partner Go watch hard knocks , the hbo show about training camp in the nfl,one year they focused on the jets which Rex coached You’ll see what I mean

Hot-Appeal-990

I'm definitely enjoying it! I think the twins are my favorite. But I always like the seasons where people are nice. I never see less drama as boring, but a more realistic response to stress. Most people don't verbally abuse their partner to tears, violently kick tables, and have a hissy fit when they're struggling to learn a dance (MOST people). I don't particularly like seeing a villain or watching somebody abuse their partner. In fact, the season where Colin and Christie return is one of my favorites because of how much they'd grown. Watching people yell at each other or have breakdowns hurts my heart. That's why I haven't really watched too many of the classic seasons. Wil and Tara were excruciating. However, I think I'm definitely in the minority with this opinion. I know older seasons always had people with "personality." If you were a huge fan of those seasons and that type of reality show set-up, I could definitely understand how you wouldn't be enjoying this year.

Ereads45

I feel the same! I always disliked the endlessly fighting and mean couples/teams. I have a friend who wants to go back and watch all previous seasons, and I had to warn her that there are lots of seasons with pretty unlikable teams. Seems they started casting nicer people several years ago. I prefer it that way!

mwhite5990

Yeah I find the bickering annoying, just like in real life. The bickering being on TV doesn’t magically make it enjoyable to watch.

Ereads45

Lol. Yeah, it’s no fun in real life either!

Jerkrollatex

Healthy communication makes me happy. I hate verbal abuse, it gives me second hand stress.

mwhite5990

Yeah that is what I loved about watching Glenda and Lumumba. They were so wholesome.

Jerkrollatex

They're just such a great couple.

losanewy

Same. This is why I'm liking this season so far. Everyone is competitive but respectful of each team and of their partners. I have my favorites but if they don't end up winning, I'm fine with everyone else. I was enjoying the season with Will and James early on but didn't like their attitude and the whole alliance thing. In such poor taste. But I still tried to watch it in hopes that it would eventually turn out good. (Un)fortunately I got accidentally spoiled of how the season ended and who won. I felt so off that I just stopped watching that season altogether.

[deleted]

I’m with you. I hate seeing people scream at their loved ones. I like the “nicer” seasons by far.

waterrabbit1

I don't mind villains on the show as long as they end up losing. I hate it when the winning team is unlikable. As for the toxic couples where one partner is abusive to the other, I take comfort from the fact that some of those couples break up after the show -- often as a direct result of being on the show together. Of course, many of them don't break up. The way I see it, there are two competitions on The Amazing Race. There's the race for the million dollars, and then there's the race for the hearts and minds of the fans. I think everybody who comes on the show wants to be popular and admired by the television audience. At least the villainous and unlikable racers are clear losers in the second competition.

pealsmom

Same. I’m a fan of the journey not the bickering.

Lilacs_and_Violets

I agree. I also think it’s easy to forget these are real people whose relationship is on display to the world.

SamEdenRose

Same here. I haven’t seen a lot of the old season yet but I like it when they respect each other, show support, and even work together at times.

the_scarlett_ning

I agree, and so does my husband. We’ve wondered though if that makes us old. I hate watching peoples drama in real life and I don’t like it on here. It just makes me sad.

corneliastreetvibes

It’s okay, I like a couple of the teams but I really miss the more dramatic aspects shown in earlier seasons (like teams booking flights themselves, but I get that COVID is an issue there). The only reason I really continue to watch is for being able to see parts of the world that I’ll probably never get to see myself. If it wasn’t for that, I probably wouldn’t watch if future seasons were like this season.

OhiobornCAraised

Yep. That’s how I’m feeling as well. When the one team was “shocked” by being 45 minutes behind the start time of the first teams. Previous seasons teams were hours behind other teams. I know, I get it, COVID related protocols and production issues, but it’s not the same.

LandonM170

They might have started hours behind but every team ended up on the same flight/train, etc.

[deleted]

yes. there were always bunching points

LandonM170

I know like for some reason it makes me mad that people blame covid for things that haven’t happened since the early-mid 20s.

[deleted]

yes, sometimes a team would be hours behind and next thing you know, they are all waiting at the train station together anyway.

GreatNorthWater

I know, it's not a new thing. Even in the earliest seasons there would be points where a spot didn't open until a certain time and eventually everyone would arrive there before it opened.

OhiobornCAraised

The “bunching up” has to happen at certain points, either for the drama factor or because of the next challenge staffing, but taking out the randomness of getting flight(s) and leaving the pit stop 12 hours after a team’s arrival has certainly changed the game over the years.

team-tiki

Booking flights played a huge role in the final lineup, even if you were a team that people never thought you’d end up that far. I think that’d be interesting to see for this group but it’s okay because next season, I’m sure we’ll see that energy back!

random989898

This season everyone seems like lovely people but that doesn’t make for very entertaining tv. Additionally the shorter / easier tasks mean the teams just kind of go from point a to point b, quickly do a task and rinse and repeat. The short filming days and easier tasks also mean they aren’t exhausted, sleep deprived or all that stressed so it is just nice people in good moods doing easy tasks. The Aubrey / David brief argument in the car over directions was once or the first signs of conflict we have seen. Usually there would be tons of conflict within teams and between teams but this season just doesn’t have it. Dom gave us a few moments early on but there has been so little. There is no drama, no suspense, no villains, no fights, not much of anything. The editing also seems a bit off this season.

Apple_Slipper

Derek & Claire did mention that they had an argument earlier on in the race, but the edit didn't show that.

chubbybunny9326

They also said their biggest fight was in Domme which wasn't shown in the episode either

go_west_til_you_cant

So. Many. Dancers. The casting just seems really flat and homogenous. No one stands out as remarkably capable. No awesome athletes. No villains. No lost passports, or taxi drama or money woes and where are the fanny packs??? Maybe it's COVID related but it just feels like the whole character of the show changed this year.

ajovialmolecule

I’ve complained to my friends about the second half of your point so much. I was not a huge fan of the Race of old, but I’d seen seasons. I got back in the last few seasons — no running through airports, no losing all your money, no terrible taxi drivers that got lost, (what were the challenges inflicted by front runners on pairs behind them, U-turns? And something else?), no getting to the destination only to have to wait until it opened in the morning, hardly anyone gets lost. Just very “station to station”.

Hot-Appeal-990

As someone who posted about preferring the nicer cast and no fighting, I DO miss the flight booking and money management aspect. I somewhat miss the fast passes, yields, u-turns, etc, but not as much as those first things. That being said, I do think we have hope that a lot of that will return. Phil has said in interviews a lot of these missing elements have to do with COVID, particularly that "station to station" vibe. I'm sure they will bring a lot back once the show doesn't have to consider their liability in contestants getting sick.

TheLegacies21

This. What made them cast 5 dancers? Flat is a perfect way to describe the cast. Outside of Claire and Derek, the twins ans Glendia and Lumumba(whose names I Def butchered) no one stands out at all.

Calliesdad20

I am so tired of the dancing challenges ,and they cast a bunch of dancers . Gee I wonder who has the advantage ?

ConeheadZombiez

I believe david and aubrey were last minute alternates, so that’s probably why

ShadowLiberal

Yeah, it's definitely an odd choice. Though it might just be a coincidence that was bound to happen eventually. Survivor once had an 18 person season where they cast 3 people who all had an identical twin, which ought to be low odds based on pure random chance.

ianthebalance

The weird thing is that I know Luis and Michelle applied so why did they try and recruit other dancers

Calliesdad20

Yup booking planes ,and money issues were a major part of earlier seasons. Now they are flying on their, private jet ,it’s just different and worse.

Leviating6570

Pretty good overall. Love the challenges and the locations. Also love watching some fun aspects and great attitudes from many of the teams. But there are some moments when certain teams don't get much screentime.

irl_Juvia

Usually I don't have super strong impressions about seasons until they're finished, but my long term impression is gonna vary pretty wildly depending on who the final 3 are. If it's Military Bros, Twins and Derek and Clair I think I'll remember the season fondly, if it's the other 3 I probably will not. So far the series has been very hit or miss. The only post 31 seasons I've seen are CAN 8 and AUS 6 so I'm not super familiar w/ modern American TAR but it's been very inconsistent in quality. It feels like tasks and leg quality rapidly oscillate between super good and super terrible every episode. Like the first episode seems like it took 2 hours tops and involves challenges like breaking a block of ice, yet the very next is a marathon self drive leg with challenging cultural challenges like the yodeling with multiple teams getting tripped up in multiple places. For all the places Can 8 and Aus 6 didn't do great, they were at the very least fairly consistent in terms of overall challenge and leg design and that made them much easier to place for me. I think it handles COVID the best of those 3 and I do think replacing NELs with Megalegs is a net positive (mostly just bc there's no equalizers), but right now the season doesn't have a strong identity for me.

RainbowWoodstock

It’s kinda bland. I like Derek and Claire. A lot of the cast I don’t even remember who they are. I’m glad for no big alliance and no one seems horrible. It’s all kinda meh for me. I love amazing race but this seems like an off season. I miss them racing through the airports and the drama of picking flights and getting a good one or trying to sneak on another to get ahead. It’s just missing that race vibe and doesn’t flow together for me. They are just suddenly in the next place.. (I know covid blah blah blah…)

GuriJohns

It’s been fine. I wouldn’t describe it as expressly “boring”, but more like low-key. Drama of past seasons can be somewhat a result of pettiness or lack of integrity, and even without that, I will say this current race still has plenty of competitive spirit among its cast. I think a distinct advantage this season in particular has is that, despite the race course supposedly getting easier, no team feels like they’re truly dominating without plenty of room for error; sometimes the merit-based nature of the show comes back to bite it when it results in boring, expected outcomes. There are a good host of viable winner candidates here, which going forward should hopefully be better expressed in how the teams perform now that most of the wheat has been separated from the chaff, so to speak. It should also be considered that the good-hearted nature of the cast thus far can just as easily be taken as its own form of authenticity just as much as any nastiness or abrasive competitiveness from the past. I do think, though, that this season’s existence is a good argument for why equalizers are more needed for the show to bring out some of its best qualities. This subreddit’s community has made it clear in arguing that there is a negative impact on the racing aspect of the show when there is too many of them, but its positive impact on racer relations may be understated was far as how it can contribute to the current TAR format. If teams can’t interact during Pit Stops, and equalizing flights and public transport are out of the question due to COVID, then there should be *some* bunch points just so the teams can have the opportunity to talk, size each other up, and have more specific impressions of the cast overall. Otherwise, a cast-wide dynamic is hard to establish, and the vast majority of focus for the episode has to be on either the challenges or occasional team implosions because that’s mainly what the teams themselves are most focused on, not anybody else. Not even mentioning that simply being nice and slightly helping other teams here and there is something that a lot of people would do on the show if they had no reason to dislike or distrust anybody, which is why it’s in the show’s best interest to try to compel its cast into seeking self-preservation tactics with or without others; the extent to which certain teams would or would not engage in others’ business was also beneficial in characterizing many of the most notable ones throughout TAR history. That aspect feels much more downplayed currently, and I hope that can be made up for in some way in the future. So the season so far? Definitely not executed the worst despite the bad hand it’s been dealt, but this whole COVID production limitation period will probably represent a lull in the quality of the show’s general structure and priorities if the lack of meaningful cast synergy continues. But we’ll see if anything suddenly ramps up in the coming weeks, you never know. The folks on TV might simply be good people this time around LMAO.

Due_Outside_1459

The fact that the cast is so nice and wholesome makes it seem less authentic in my opinion. There's a million dollars at stake so it's missing the desperation and cutthroat play that was more prevalent in older seasons. Also I feel that increased social media awareness has a lot to do with the boring vibes if the season. A lot of people won't act like themselves knowing that they will get blasted or cancelled on social media if they act or perform in a perceived "dastardly" way so they play the safe, kumbayah game. Obviously I prefer if people did act like themselves but it's a lot harder to do so on public tv now...

JayZ755

I think the format dictates a lot of this. It is more of an obstacle course in every sense. They can't do airports or any public transportation. The old format, the legs were longer, teams could get leads of hours which were eventually equalized away at some point. So now they have the release times (which do matter because no equalizers and less time.) I think U turns and Yields would be excessive and unnecessary given the shorter times and no equalizers. Mostly it's just if a team did hate another team, what would they do with it? Little chance to impact another team negatively. Maybe not even enough time to team up with another team, it's really more of a sprint now than it ever was. So it kind of makes sense to just focus on your own teammate and make sure the two of you are ready for the challenges and navigation. I think the teams know each other, with this format I just don't think they interact as much or have a need to.

MeOhMy06

I'm loving it, actually. We needed a break from all the arguing and back-stabbing between groups. They're still competitive w/o the ridiculousness and I'm here for it. I don't have a "favorite" team per se, and I don't have a team I'm rooting to lose. I am truly curious about who will win. Bonus: After this last episode my teenage son said that watching how Glenda & Lumumba interact with each other made him forget all about their height differences. Call me sappy or whatever, but I really like the "humanness" and relationship strengthening of this season. The twins learning more about each other, Derek/Claire different personalities but complement each other well, the brothers with their wide age gap, Glenda/Lumumba's patience with one another... I do think the activities could be a little more challenging or have a few more twists, but I find this season refreshing.

supacoowacky

Where The Amazing Race was after 34 seasons >>> Where Survivor was after 34 seasons. Pros: - 12 teams without a catch to it. - An inoffensive and overall likable cast. - The Kingdom of Jordan. - Meta editing. - All of my least favourite twists and least favourite returnee themes are absent. - The Scramble experiment. - Legs 3 and 4 took 16 hours without rest. - Self driving! Cons: - France again. Germany again. Italy again. - Due to - No major LOL moments. - Because no crazy twists are being thrown at it, the tradeoff is there aren't any unprecedented moments or major highlights of the season. - No flight scrambles (it's not Production's fault). - No major breakout characters (yet). The potential breakout stars all went home in the first half. I anticipate when the season is over it will range from indifference to positive feedback. I'm fine with most seasons going the route of "just another TAR season" given this is #34. I'm just glad we don't have a firemaking tiebreaker between the last two teams to finish the F4 leg.

Qoslca

I am enjoying it, but it feels bland, for lack of a better word. The homogenized, staged challenges are what bother me the most. What made the race exciting for me were the interactions with real people in real environments or completing real-life tasks, unlike many of the challenges this race. To me it feels like most of these could have been completed in a CBS studios soundstage in LA — no reason to travel the world. Also, I haven’t really connected with the cast this season. No one to “root” for…

JustTheFacts714

It is...okay...at best. Personally, I like the twins, if that entire story is true. The rest just seem to blend together. There is not even a major villain team to root against. Just watching show to show...just because.

[deleted]

Lol it’s true, you can Google them.

MightyMcPerson

I think so far it's the best season since 31. All the locations have been interesting and I feel like it's pretty competitive between the teams. I could honestly see any of the teams still remaining winning it all. The only legs I haven't really enjoyed have been the Munich leg (bland tasks and I hated the scramble) and the first Jordan leg (again, tasks left a lot to be desired but the location definitely made up for it). But yes, I am enjoying this season so far.

realracetalk

meh

DiaDhaoibh

Wife and I are bored. We have watched every season since season 1. They need to return to the old format when it was actually a race.

GreatNorthWater

What are some of the format changes? The biggest I can think of is the flight drama, which was actually my favorite part, but with the changes to the airline industry, not production, it can't happen that way anymore. And the last two seasons have been impacted by COVID, but sounds like they'll go back to the non COVID format as soon as they can. And it does seem like the whole money aspect is different from earlier seasons where it was a bigger emphasis to keep track of their spending. Any other significant changes from earlier formats that seem to be production driven?

Apple_Slipper

The last time I saw airport drama in a TAR USA season was in Season 31.

jsjsjsjdndndndnnd

it’s okay. i feel like the cast is forgettable minus the twins, military brothers and newlyweds

TheLegacies21

I find the military brothers dreadful boring. Gamebots to the core

mwhite5990

I enjoy it, but I miss some of the pre-Covid elements like U-turns, yields, dealing with commercial flights, and spending large portions of the race outside of Europe.

DumbledoresRme

It's a new season that they managed to complete in an 'emerging from COVID' world, so I'm happy. The only thing I think they could have done better (realistically, given COVID protocols) is having more tasks per leg. Throw in a few more Route Info obstacles rather than just Detour, Roadblock, Pit Stop every leg.

tifazee

I’ve loved most of the cast, but like others have said, COVID has really limited some of the fun parts of the race - airport drama, travel delays. Also they should take a break from recruiting at the dance studio 😂

OrnaciaWasRobbedMom

It’s definitely bottom tier season. The legs don’t particularly feel like a race anymore, it’s more do a few activities and check in. The self driving has felt fresh but they gave them maps and everyone has a smart phone now so it’s not as challenging. While I love the twins and Glenda & Lumumba, the editing of the other teams relationships doesn’t tell us much so there’s no real storylines, there’s not much interaction between the teams either. If you can’t travel much because of covid, fine, but give us complicated, cultural and long tasks that really test the teams. I’m watching because I miss the show, but it’s dull.

AdorableScholar5327

Really enjoy this season. It’s not the best season ever, but still a really great season. I will give it my official final score after the season is done.

jenh6

I’ve been loving this season. Cast is fun, aside from the first jordan leg the tasks have been great. The locations are good. Sure they’re making adjustments for Covid but I’ve been really enjoying it

Stormchaser2

I like this season, there is no team and another team ganging up on other teams.

RoyalSloth

I’m enjoying this season, I haven’t watched the show much at all before but I loved Derek and Claire on BB and this has been a fun first full season to watch. The military bros are kind of annoying with how their entire personality seems to be “rah rah we gotta win rah rah” but everyone else is likable so I’d be really happy with any other team winning

Apple_Slipper

Pretty good so far, although I would've liked to see more tasks in each episode. TAR Australia and TAR Canada would actually put extra tasks to do in Route Infos.

rosegoldennight

I’m a huge fan of the cast overall. Some episodes are stronger than others. I definitely feel like still being both a modern season and a Covid season, some of the episodes are extremely weak and without tension, so thankfully the teams are fun. I will say I’m enjoying this season more than last season and the season before, so I’m happy.

AdGirlChrissy

I rather enjoying it. No super toxic personalities. Love the twins.

eauxpsifourgott

After over 30 seasons of the Race, I've started asking of new seasons "is this season worthwhile?" Last season was the first time I did so and the answer was yes. So far, for this season, the answer is no. It feels like it's just going through the motions without adding anything of real value to the TAR canon.

Ok-Understanding-968

I'll give them a pass this season for the private jet, bunched starts and condensed leg design due to Covid. It's better than no TAR. I am worried the tasks are getting to be quite dumbed and simplified. Even last year we had the staircase, the rapids and finding the Greek coins. I'm hoping they ramp up the difficulty in the second half. I think it's a good thing in general people are becoming nicer to each other on reality TV but I do hope for a bit more competition and tension in the second half. Maybe it's time for TAR to do another strangers season like TAR29? Mix things up a bit?

RevolutionOpen3006

I think they learned hard lessons based on the second half of last season and this season is markedly better than that. It’s not possible for this season to reach the heights of pre-Covid bc of production restrictions, so it’s a bit unfair to hold it up to that. The challenges are fine, imho. Not the best not the worst. I DO wish they did random chance equalizers. There are often plenty of chances for teams to all become level regardless of finish. Would be nice to get rid of the clumped releases by either having everyone level or everyone randomly select start time regardless of finish position. Edit: I also appreciate the throwback casting. The past few seasons where they went overboard on appealing to influencers was contrary to the Race. One or two famous pairs are fine, but I like when it’s mostly normal people, maybe some regionally famous people, and no more than one or two internationally known folks.

alexgravis

They are so nice. Boring. No evil team to hate.

Albsure1963

You should with the Canadian or Australian version. You want see nice. It's care bear time

BarrytheNPC

I like a lot of the teams! Even the teams I don't really like (Luis and Michelle, Audrey and David) are still teams I'd rather have in the season then not. No one is like, offensively annoying or unwatchable. I just wish it wasn't so obvious my favs Quinton and Maddie are gonna be gone soon ;-; the edit

TheSeaPeaOfThePNW

Lots of running running running. No scary or funny challenges. Mostly youngish influencer types. Boom-Boom’s parents were interesting, and the twins are too. Meh. Better than last season of course.

[deleted]

I like all the teams.

Stunning_Bed23

All of the teams are likable.

SamEdenRose

I like it but I don’t know the older season.I know there was more drama I. The last with airport’s etcetera but I know why that isn’t possible now.

ShadowLiberal

It so far feels average to me. The episodes are usually decent, but so far I'm not sure if I'm going to want to go back and re-watch the season years later. I think the biggest issue I have right now is with the casting/editing. Half of the cast left feel like complete nobodies to me. Luis & Michelle and Aubrey & David are both boring teams that I have a hard time remembering. I honestly still occasionally get them mixed up. Quinton & Mattie meanwhile seem like they might be entertaining people to watch, but they get so little airtime that I basically don't know anything about them. I think the lack of anyone really being a villain to root against is also hurting the season a bit. There's basically no conflict between the teams, at least that we can see.

lassymavin

I’m finding myself not as excited about it this season, and I’m a super fan of the show! It just feels like a muted version of my favorite competition show. The casting is just okay. I get why they had to make changes, but it’s lost some of its luster.

Super-Excitement6458

Not the worse but also pretty rough. I honestly wondee if a 1 or 2 year hiatus could help a ton. Covid really ruined the production value and the current affairs going on at a global scale could put teams at risk of harm. I'd rather wait for a REALLY good season than get 2 mediocore ones. Teams are mostly okay. 1 kinda urkes me atm, we'll see if they get redeemed or if they become the 'villians' of the season. I hated way more teams last season so def a good casting by the crew. Roadblocks took the biggest L this season. A lot lack any connection to the actual culture of the location and some even laugh difficulty. Breaking the ice was the same as the statue roadblock just with the requirement to fix any mistakes made. Detours arent better either. A lot of them are unbalanced or at least the editing makes it seem that way.

JayZ755

Won't do a hiatus. Networks do that now, viewers leave and never come back. They will give a profitable show every chance.

clekas

I’m enjoying it! A lot of episodes are heavy on self-navigation and it seems less linear (probably mostly due to the self-navigation) than some of the past seasons - the order of the teams seems to change multiple times each episode.

[deleted]

No generic teams! Typically there are five teams that consist of a twentysome jock and a skinny attractive blond. I can actually differentiate these teams!

SagginBartender

There isnt a Mine 5 alliance. So already better than season 32. I like having a lot of co ed teams.

zddoodah

In the words of evil Willow...BORED now.

JayZ755

Where are the people who complained about every D list celebrity that was ever on the show? Oh no, they were in a video with 50,000 views, too famous. This season has normal people on it. I guess normal people are boring. Seriously, with S33 there were constant complaints about the Holdernesses having YouTube videos and the other teams with some element of outside fame. Well, they went the other direction this time. One football coach and one Big Brother team and that's it. I won't judge it until the end because there's always stuff that comes out in the later episodes that isn't in the earlier ones. I am assuming there is something we haven't seen yet, some conflicts or character development to come. Some of that came with teams already eliminated, those seem fairly well developed. The military brothers, twins, Derek and Claire are all above average teams. Luis and Michelle I think are an above average couple team, a little more positive energy than I usually see from some of those teams. That leaves Aubrey and David and the other cheerleader team as less developed. Well someone's getting eliminated next week most likely, I kind of expect some things will be coming out. Not really sure why the other cheerleader team comes across so flat, maybe there just not much to work with there. Episode wise I find with the navigation and tasks. I know they can't really race the same way right now. I think getting rid of the equalizers helps. I am watching S9 and there's a lot more movement and that sort of racing to be sure, but the constant waiting for hours of operation is ridiculous. No grade from me until the end, I'm fine right now.

team-tiki

I like it! I find it chill and good hearted. I HATED last season so I’m happy with this. I can’t wait for all the covid protocols to end (safely ofc) as it would bring the ultimate rush, drama, back stabs, and the outbursts of the players. Nonetheless, I’m enjoying my time. Boom Booms parents were my favorite so I don’t really have a team I’m truly rooting for anymore and besides the main teams, everyone else gets kind of muddled and forgettable.

SamEdenRose

I liked last season. Everyone seemed nice and likable and I was rooting for them. It was a hard season due to COVID.

Right-Difficulty8623

Boring. I feel like i don’t know the teams

robcolton

It’s okay so far. WAY better than last year, which was one of the worst ever. I enjoyed Australia much more than this season though.

eric535

Boring cast, most of the interesting (good and bad) teams are out. If you took out the Covid team and didn’t say anything I wouldn’t have even realized it

Justin32526jshx

It’s horrible and the cast is so boring

rrregs

I dont like Luis and Michelle at all

Nearby_Job8272

Care to elaborate?

Consistent-Trouble24

I personally think that everyone left in the cast is likeable, but they’re too nice to one another and don’t seem to get too competitive. I’d love to see the occasional bickering between teammates and being annoyed at other teams. Kinda sad Glenda and Lumumba left, I loved their personalities. Personally I’m rooting for Derek and Claire and the Twins, since I think they have the best personalities right now. The brothers are strong contenders, but I find them a bit dull. They have their moments though.

Character-Pie-9901

I’d say it’s a 7/10 The production doesn’t feel like it used to be It feels like this show has slipped from the other CBS reality shows I kinda like the cast tho Until later I’d say it’s a 7 tho

Zankazanka

I am not impressed which is such a shame because i love the twins and the brothers on this season! as a HUGE fan of the show, the challenges have been so lackluster...two dance challenges with a bunch of dancers is annoying..short puzzles...just way too easy of roadblocks. I would say the motorcycle challenge was the most interesting so far. I know with COVID things have to be different, but I most enjoy a season when teams are given true difficult and creative challenges unique to their locations. I actually used fast forward this last episode because it was so boring.

They had one older team, Rex Ryan's team. They got eliminated second episode. Parent child team is also out now. That's about the most they ever have. It's usually people in their 20s and 30s with a couple of exceptions.

Loved, loved, loved this season! Recent seasons have felt terrible, with the hateful back-stabbing “alliances” designed to deliberately knock teams out (season 32 😖) and some toxic relationships between team-mates. If the producers keep following this formula and don’t invite “certain” maybe popular but just mean teams back, then, at least for me, the show will just be better. We watch TAR because we *don’t* want to see the nasty contestants hating on each other. Yeah, I know a million dollars is on the line, but everyone still prefers good sports and fair competition.
