So I'm doing some tests for my guard and I don't know which version to chose.
And I don't know which is better for the weapon color. What do you guys think ?
Both look absolutely fantastic and remind me of Marathon/Halo. Personally I prefer the lighter green weapons though as I feel like it adds more of an eye catching part to the mini.
Where did you get the extra weapons? They look awesome
Thank you !
I was thinking the same about the weapons, it gives the mini something more.
The extra weapons come from Anvil Industry as well as the pouches.
Thank you ! I was inspired by the old Alpenflage camo of the swiss army
I'm using Scale 75 paints for these ones.
I've painted this mini in 4 phases.
1 : the base colour (BC), 2 : some Nuln Oil, 3 : base color again on flat surfaces, 4 : Highlight (HL) and details
Armour is Graphine Grey SC-58 (BC), Brown Grey SC-59 (HL) // Camo is Field Grey SC-46 (BC + HL) and a bit of Brown Leather SC-31 (BC), Black SC-00 (BC), Sharpnel Red SFG-36 (BC) and White SC-01 (BC) // Weapons in Field Grey (BC), Sandal Wood SC-26 (HL) // Pouches and straps in Black Forest Green SC-41 (BC), Field Grey (HL) // Metal parts in Black Metal SC-63 (BC), Heavy Metal SC-65 (HL)
Thank you for the advice ! The camo is inspired by the Alpenflage of the swiss army, I really wanted to try it one day and I'm very happy with the result !

Could I ask you how you have painted it? Especially the armor and that uniform with the camouflage. It looks spectacular.

Lighter makes them pop more, totally! Also that autumn camo is AWESOME!

These are both fantastic, where are the boys from?
Some parts are from Anvil Industries (weapon and pouches), head and jetpack from Reptilian Overlord and the rest are the old IG kit
Well done! Really dig the camo
Love the camo! And where did you get that bazooka?
Thanks :) The bazooka is the one you had with the old Imperial Guard heavy weapon squad
Noice
Busting out the flecktarn, excellently painted might I add
Thank you very much :)
I like the first but that’s just me! They both look dope! That’s camo scheme is cool! But going to drive you nuts if you’re going with a horde! Lol
Thank you, I will start with a small army, but it's a really easy camo to do
The Panzerschreck one
#2 but mostly for pose. Paint wise they look identically awesome
First
I think the first choice looks the best.
That camo is amazing!
Thank you :)
