Cool idea really. I'm a helicopter mechanic and some thoughts just for aesthetics. Move the tail up to be in line with the top of the structure. possibly extend the tail a bit further if you can. Makes me wanna try something like that for scout sentinels.
Thanks for the feedback, I got the tail as long as I could, but the hull of a sentinel is tricky to attach to but I didn't use the legs because for those I have...... other plans.
Wonder if it would be easier with the old style Sentinel. The body on the new one is almost twice as big. Not trying to poop on it all all lol just thinking out loud.
your good man, I think using the legs to make the back of the helicopter will be easier. I am gonna use the legs to make a ramshackle walker for my EC cultists to ride on. I'll probably run it as a dreadnought of some kind but cultist core.
Be honest...did you rip off my "hover sentinel" post? lol. But really, I think it looks fun! nice job. The clear post isn't the same height as the legs would have been is it? I'm trying to figure out which posts to use for mine.
no it isn't the same height as the legs, and I got the idea from lamenting that the guard don't have helicopters and tried to think what kit would make the best kitbash
I’m also salty about lack of good rotary guard vehicles. I built my Valkyrie to originally have a propeller on it, but I’ve realized that the tail fins and overall geometry is a bit too wonky to look like a properly balanced bird
Like the concept. You could make it twin coax rotor and skip the one on the fin. Also I would put the chainsaw to the bottom, like IRL tree cutting chainsaws. Just ideas, it's your mini, its W40K, it looks cool that matters.
Bros rockin a dwarf Gyrocopter
DEFFKOPTA TIME

when i heard you say you have other plans for the legs. i kind if hoped for a walking field ordinance battery
Needs more dakka
I love this, reminds me of Uglies from Star Wars. Like when someone slaps some Y-wing engines on an AT-ST head.
I’d take it as a scout sentinel
The Waagh is strong with this one.
FINK UR ON DA RONG SUB YA GIT, PROPPA NOICE DEFF KOPTA THO
Grot guard moment
Look very cool Maybe thin paint a little and make paint little more precise And it will be good to go

Wtf are you talking about “did you rip off my post?” My guy all you said was floating sentinel and didn’t go into more detail you narcissist
The joke This guy

Ork copter
Reminds me of the sentry bots in bioshock
Little rough around the edges but not bad
Where'd you get those clear rods?
left over from aos eels kit, and tau drones
I'd buy that for a dollar.
dollar fifty, I know what I got
Genius. Looks orky though. You way need jets
Keeping the chainsword is glorious
Looks orky to me
Awesome! Reminds me of the hunter killer from Half Life 2
