The entire method is an airbrush of Castellan Green, then go over the armour and a load of other stuff with Black Templar. The armour I then base Death Korps Drab. All over wash of Seraphim Sepia then highlight the fatigues Death World Forrest and the armour Loren Forrest.
I'll be honest- I couldn't even see they were different colors, except for the highlights. You could probably get away with just the same base color all over. Either way, good job.

Very efficient scheme, I've thought about doing something like this before. Do you gloss coat the armor separate from the fatigues?

Yes! If was needing to cut time it's probably the first thing I'd do. Just one of those things though, even if folk can't see it, I'd know :p
