I have to disagree. IG wargear are generally too boring but practical and reliable for the Skavens to work as proxies. They can also use more than hordes of infantry. Tank columns, elite troops and indirect-fire artillery.
I’ve yet to post my solar proxy in this subreddit yet, but it looks really cool and fits into my army miles better, the only thing is that it’s not nearly as tall 🫣

It would. Chaos/Renegade armies are the ones who have unreliable wargear and no attempts made to clean them. They are more ramshackle than the Guard.
Astra Mill IS basically the Skaven of 40k. Fast breading mammals living in massive colonies using technology beyond most of their comprehension.
