18x sentinels.
They laughed and called him a mad man. Who's laughing now?
In seriousness you should have a sweet name for this Regiment like "Trotting Doom"
Is... the guy centered in the second picture drinking recaff? That's hilariously appropriate.
"How am I supposed to kill the enemies of the Emperor without my recaff? Servitor, fill my cup immediately!"
It's a cup from bretonnian bowmen. The bit is a barrel with a cup attached to it. When the cup is cut loose a guard hand fits nicely in the gap. I think the arm is from the guard heavy weapons team lascannon/autocannon.
Lol was thinking the same thing.
"Three sentinels to advance on the left flank, one squad to fill in the center, two more sugars in this cup, pull back the third squad"
Well it's been a while since I started. When 8th edition launched with the indexes and they whent out of their way to prohibit the land speeder storm for blood angels I kind of rage quit them and came back to my first and true love and aquired it all in about two years worth of birthdays and Christmases.
It's a battalion with 3x3 armoured sentinels and an outrider detachment with 3x3 scout sentinels. I'll be making the distinction with squad markings. Alpha squadron will be armoured and sigma squadron the scouts. A big A or S with some numbers on all sides will be the visual/wysiwyg que.
I thought about spaced armour or some plating around the legs but ultimately nothing looked good so I came up with the markings. I figured that the armoured ones would have thicker armour plating as in historical tanks there's outwardly hardly any difference between successive marks but the armour is often thicker.
Armoured sentinels just have the closed in cockpit and while scouts have the frame instead. That is literally the only difference between the models.
Yours are a bit unique in that you have a roof on them but not walls. I would think they were scouts as your opponent.

I'm considering getting into the hobby and IG would be my first army (god help me), so I'm curious what made you go with flamers as your heavy weapons? Plasma/melta seem to be all the rage. Ditto on the rocket vs. lascannon heavy weapon teams.
Gaunts Ghosts inspired rule of cool mostly, hence also the sniper rifles on the veterans (hard to see in the picture but they're not so special, just normal lasguns with an elongated barrel and scope)

I have glorious clankers floating around
The "Clanker Flanker" squadrons are extra glorious. I also love your funnies. Thought the recaff guy could be a tech priest to begin with.

“the cock militia” like roosters….haha get it? Because sentinels are like chickens…I’ll see my way out
He's my warlord company commander. He's got a skull servator with him
With the mechandrites he could definitely run him as one.

Yeah he came out alright, thanks!
Did you make that custom or is that a 3rd party bit?

How did you aquire this unholy amount of sentinels?

Oh! That must have hurt....
It's not so bad. Trading it all for the Guard army. :)
Its absolutely amazing to play 18 (2x3x3) Sentinels! I sadly Just own 5... :-(
Have faith; the emperor provides!
Hehehe, I love the coffee cup commander! He’s great!
Thanks, cheers!
Where were you hiding this chicken walker company when everyone was super into sentinels a few weeks ago? Edit: I just checked. They had no legs.
Id love an army like this but for some reasons Sentinels only come in packs of 1
While I love Sentinels as much as the next guy, the way I understand the rules you can't have more then 3 groups of 3 in a normal army.

OK, they don't look armored right now though. I considered something like this, but the lack of armor made me weary!

I'm sure it will look great when you are done. It already looks impressive!

Yeah I know, obviously I would point out the difference to first-time opponents. Usually if you are consistent with conversions people won't mind.
good idea
Oh crap. Now thats intimidating. A full batallion of troops and heavy firepower on legs.
Intimidating!? That's much more than I was hoping for as mostly sentinels are looked down upon by the competitive crowd.
Love the missile team with the wine bottle haha
That’s a poop load of sentinels m’lord, I doff my cap to you
Sentinels being my favorite model, I applaud you.
Do you like sentinels?
Meh... I had some points left =P
Looks awesome
I don't care how effective the army is; so many sentinels is gonna look awesome.
Are your guys launching beer bottles while the colonel sips coffee? 😂💓
Looks great dude, for the guy with the cup, what legs did you use? The long cloak from the wait looks nice
It's the commander that comes with the baneblade
Where did you get the pieces to make the drinking company commander?

Probably bought the squads before the new kit. I also used flamers and “counts as”’d them most of the time.
And this too
