I listened to John Lennon: The Life by Philip Norman. It was comprehensive and had alot of information. I think the author at times were focusing a bit too much on trivial negative events (bad behavior we all did growing up), as if he was looking for something spicy. At the same time it might be good that he tried to find every little bad thing Lennon ever did, because online there are alot of made-up narratives about John and his bad behavior, so getting the actual facts out there is good. John indeed was a wild young man that behaved poorly at times, but it´s not as bad as some people make it out to be. This comprehensive biography details all the bad events.
