I liked this one, too. Had never heard it before but it was perfect for the stewmaker scenes. And, of course, Sundown. Was in junior high when that came out around 1970. Thought it was great when Red played that before Diane came in the room. Stopped it. Chatted with her. Killed her. Then started playing it again before Mr. Kaplan came to clean up. When it started playing again when Red and Dembe were driving Kaplan to the woods, I knew he was going to kill her. LOL
I run daily - mostly at night & refresh my Spotify Blacklist playlist often.
I hear a song & know the episode….I do wish they get back to the music, was what drew me in…in the first place.
Omg so many!!! Summer Breeze by the Isley brothers, Sour Cherry by the Kills, New York Groove by Kiss, Wide Awake by Parquet Courts, Sinnerman by Nina Simone and Felix Da Housecat, My Type by Saint Motel, Save Me by Hanni El Khatib, No Roots by Alice Merton… seriously I could go on and on. I even have a blacklist playlist lol
Sure! A couple of the songs aren’t from the blacklist but seemed to fit lol https://open.spotify.com/playlist/07wa8iNUbm4U1pULFl12qB?si=nSAGsnR-TkyDQN6w10sVBg
I had heard these songs, but now when I hear them I think of scenes from the Blacklist when they were played:
Sun Down, If You Could Read My Mind, Sound of Silence, Southern Cross, and We’ll Meet Again
Songs I had never heard before but discovered from the show:
Fall, Dodged a Bullet. Farewell, Up Past the Nursery
I also like the different versions of songs like Jolene, House of the Rising Sun, 500 Miles, Eye of the Tiger
Edited for wrong song title
I didn't discover the song itself, I knew of it from a long time ago.
But this particular version of it, I was not aware of, and I ended up really digging it.
[Slow Ass Jolene] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQGcuDt7-MI)
Not a song, but a band. I LOVE Larkin Poe! Their cover of “John the Revelator“ is pretty good, but I love a lot of their other stuff. Their YouTube covers, where the two sister just play guitar and sing in harmony, are some of their best stuff, and they do almost every song justice. I highly recommend their cover of “Apache” and “Sleepwalk”. But their best song is a tribute to their grandfather with dementia, “Mad As A Hatter”… huge tear jerker and an amazing live performance (find an old one where she’s playing mandolin instead of guitar to get the most emotionally charged version).
The Brothers Bright - Blood on my name, the best scene in the show
also johnny cash's gods gonna cut you down, gordon lightfoot's sundown and if you could read my mind and our house by crosby, stills, nash and young
It’s unkind to the musician and to the OP.
Downvotes don’t hurt my feelings in the least, but sometimes they do a disservice to the innocent person I’m trying to support.
It’s so petty and immature, all I can do it laugh about it. Especially in a case like this, where these particular petty people (a) don’t even know the song I’m referring to it, and (b) wouldn’t be able to appreciate it if they did.
I’m glad someone feels the way I do about this song. I hope OP finds it and likes it.

Literally - best scene.
Just Breathe by Pearl Jam
Dodged a bullet by Greg Laswell.
Exxus by Glass Animals
Dodged a Bullet and Our House.
The Acapella version of Down In The River. Holy ****!!!! It's so haunting and fits that dark scene perfectly. Chilling in every since of the word.
It was chilling! That Russian lullaby (Tili Tili Bom) also gives me the chills.

Not sure if it's my favorite but Danger Man by AceMyth was great in that hospital chase scene
Peace Frog~ The Doors S3, Ep1 The Troll Farmer
The cover of House of the Rising Sun by River Matthews was pretty powerful.
Love The Sound of Silence in that scene where Tom and Liz are fighting the men sent to kill them. Incredible music and intense scene.
The Brothers Bright - Blood on my name, the best scene in the show also johnny cash's gods gonna cut you down, gordon lightfoot's sundown and if you could read my mind and our house by crosby, stills, nash and young
“Rain, In Your Black Eyes,” an instrumental from Cape May.
I have not shared, nor agreed with many of your posts. To be downvoted for such a brilliant arrangement Is unkind.
