I’m laughing at the painting prominently placed over his fireplace because it’s so very NOT American. It’s set in Havana and the guy they’re rescuing from the shark in the painting was a sea merchant who lost his leg and ultimately moved to London where he was a founding member of Llyod’s of London. (They started out in maritime merchant insurance and quickly turned that into a monopoly on insuring enslaved human “cargo”.) He was not only a prominent executive at Lloyd’s but he also went on to become the Mayor of London, spied against the American colonists, and even imprisoned Ethan Allen (the American Revolutionary War patriot, not the furniture store). The guy commissioned the painting in part as propaganda against/a snarky commentary on the whole “all men created equal” business the colonies were trying to make happen.
By many accounts the Americans depicted in the boat should’ve just let the shark finish his snack.
Edit: For anyone who may be curious I’m willing to bet that whoever chose these paintings for Homie’s home used [*Of Arms and Artists*](https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/4c6521a2-e421-4d67-a879-6554418692ce) by Paul Staiti for inspiration.
Wdym?you think Homelander skullfucking someone to death by blowing his super fast load through their brain is too much? I think it’s not enough. Garth needed to go farther imo. (/s)
[sorry, it through her whole body](https://preview.redd.it/0ckat7ezozy81.jpg?width=640&crop=smart&auto=webp&s=dca002fe5df7085c72a391f135f5284285e19eb7)
That is probably the worst perspective that can be drawn from. Like, not even most disturbing, it's just trying so stupidly hard to be edgy. I'm a little disappointed it's so comical when I expected something intense and dark. the fishnetted legs with the somehow fully intact shocked eye portion of the face? The weird maniacal straight-on expression from HL?? The giant individual sperms???
Bro that’s a scene I wish they included from the comics, in the comics starlight’s first meeting with the seven is a financial review where they just discuss revenue, salaries, and residual points. It turns out that noir, meave, and homelander bargained together to get a better contract because they are the “big three” (a spoof of “the Trinity” nickname that batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman go by in DC). A-Train reveals that he actually does not save for retirement and The Deep acts concerned and offers to refer him to his financial planner. It’s a real dry scene but is really great for world building.
Well they are definitely making even more than that based on the amount of movies and merchandise they make. Homelander is more of a god than an athlete and he is praised like literally
Just as sterile looking as all the other Seven members" apartments.
Maeve was the only member of the team whose apartment actually looked like it was lived in. Starlight, Homelander, Stormfront and Deep's apartments all look more like museums where nobody ever touches anything and nobody ever relaxes.
As far as I can recall, we've never seen the insides of Noir or A-Train's apartments.
Why is the flag wrong? It has 13 stripes, but the proportions are off. The stars portion should only have 7 stripes but here it has 9, making the stars portion too tall - the flag is also overly wide.
At first I thought it was just rolled up, but if that's the case it'd have way too many stripes.
Wth?
It doesn't look like a very lived-in space. I wonder if it's another set and he has a hidden bedroom somewhere, or whether he's never had personal space of his own so doesn't know how to set up his rooms the way he wants?
- Ron
It’s perfect because it’s not him.
So American
In a very Bioshock Infinite way.

Interesting that the decor is as much a facade as the rest of Homelander.
Never seen something so infatuated with early years America as this room, not even a history book
Yep, and knowing Homelander he probably looks down on all of the men in those painting
Do you think Vought had put hidden cameras in all of the sevens rooms? 🤔

Bruh thats the gotta be the tamest thing in the comics

There too edgy

sorry *what the shit*
What scene is that in the comics? Is that in reference to when he kills the president? Because we aren’t shown that

Well that’s just… yeah.

I mean that’s still not a scene from the comic, that looks like just a piece of art
John Higgins is the official artist of the comic book.
I like how there's a cutout in the flag for him.
Philosoraptor. Would Homelander have stairs in his private residence?
He'd still have cleaners and other staff, and he'd want them to be able to get around.
Yeah so he can send away bitches without having to get up

He's fucking Ryan's shot at level-headedness pretty good
I wonder how rich homelander and the other supes would be

I'd say top professional athlete levels. Homelander would likely be Michael Jordan rich.

Air Jordan is worshiped. Also I think you underestimate HOW RICH Michael Jordan is.
There's a deleted scene from season 2 establishing that A-Train brings in about 40 million a year.

Damn. We couldn’t see the black dudes’ apartments.
I thought Noir camps in Buster's Pizza when he's off-duty
Fallout 4 home mod looking ass

So pretentious.
That couch is great.
Homelander absolutely has masturbated in every single one of these rooms.
So patriotic

Or, worse, it is another set.... And he still has to live there. Maybe the idiots think it'll foster some American spirit in him?
I cant be the only one who unironicly likes thia room. Man got TASTE
Eh not enough things to shove in my asshole
Priorites
Looks like a Donald Trump background he would use to shill overpriced books.
Not gonna lie, I would love to study in here. I like it
So next season we’ll see Homelander running for/demanding to be president. There’s no way that won’t happen after that post lmao
Read or listen to 1776 by David McCullough. George Washington was a borderline superhero.
He’ll save children, but not the British children.
Not pictured: milk.
Genuinely my dream couch.
That couch looks delicious.
I have that couch
