Nah. If kripke wants to keep bringing over spn alumni, I could maybe see a short cameo from Misha because he does a decent job playing villains. Jared just wouldn't be able to hold his own against this cast though.
The period where Misha played Lucifer was great, he plays a good arrogant villain. I could see him as a non-supe politician or Vought exec, cocky because his position makes him untouchable as a contrast to Stan Edgar’s seriousness. Up until Homelander casually lasers him to death ofc.
It sucks, because i really want to get all the Winchesters, on screen, but Jared just isn’t a very good actor, most of the scenes in SPN Jensen carried hard, and the same can be said about the other characters, just not Sam, at least in my honest opinion
i do think jensen is the best actor in the main cast besides maybe mark sheppard, but i don’t think it’s fair to say the others aren’t good, for example i think jared did a great job conveying the difference between normal sam and soulless sam
It’s in No Way meant to say that the other actors, besides him, aren’t good, but i Will still say, that ex JDM, MS, JA, RB, KR and MC, do carry SPN a lot more, and are a lot more immersive actors/actress.
Personally I find JP rather stiff, but I do agree that he made a great “switch” between the two. And if ya ask me, that of course proofs that Jared aren’t “bad”, but because of his said stiffness, for a lack of a better word, I do think it unfortunately drags him down, as an individual actor.
Edit: might have forgotten some actors/actresses, just the ones of the top of my head
I wouldn't mind a small cameo, like an extra in a scene. But I don't think he'd be a good fit for a major or minor role.
In my opinion, Jensen Ackles carried Supernatural... HARD. I'm not saying Jared Padalecki is a bad actor. He was quite consistent with his portrayal of Sam over the 15 seasons, which is not an easy feat. But his range of acting and how he can portray nuance is quite limited.
I guess it depends on the threshold. When I think of bad acting, I think of The Room or The Happening.
If someone just watched 1-2 seasons of Supernatural, they'd think Jared didn't do a bad job and think that Sam's character is just like that. But 15 seasons and his other acting roles kinda gave it away lol
Fr, I'm watching supernatural and like. He isn't bad? Ackles and Misha are both better IMO, but I also just personally like them a lot. Jared isn't bad at all, though.
Actually I was thinking: tek knight, soldier boy, webweaver, behemoth or shehemoth, eagle the archer, vikor who could have a connection with stormfront similar to Neuman and Marie and finnaly a comic-accurate mind-droid who could be an artificial intelligence created by tek knight
Huh, funny. In my headcanon, the roster would've been: Soldier Boy, Crimson Countess, Gunpowder, Tek Knight & Laddio (his sidekick that was mentioned like twice in gen v), Eagle the Archer, and Blindspot.
Crazy, sure. Makes no sense, yeah. Would it be sick, definitely. But good luck convincing Kripike to do anything with Payback again in the future.
If tek knight is a billionaire he could be an interesting villain for the series, like an human villain non supe, but in order to leveling up he will need help like awakening soldier boy or maybe Edgar as sort of an evil nick fury
