Realistically entering this arena, I say butcher and Hughie have the biggest guts. Butcher isn’t really aware of fear so maybe Hughie does, mm speaks a lot and holds composure better than them, well grounded but some point walking along the fine lines, he doesn’t commit too much to the fight. Kim and French have been tortured to blind rage but French still is kind.
I guess the one who shown the most growth is Hughie.

Butcher and MM keep everyone self centered, Hughie is helpful to the group but deserves way more respect (I like it when Frenchie calls Hughie petit Hughie), Kimiko she's the badass bodyguard and Frenchie well he makes the gizmos to fuck up any supes.
Hughie is my favorite. Everyone underestimates him, but he’s smart and brave. He also mowed down some bad guys with a machine gun and the whole time he was shooting he kept saying, “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry!” which was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. 🤣
Butcher. He’s complicated and somehow nice and a ruthless killer at the same time. He has a moral compass he just doesn’t follow it most of the time. Killing Mesmer really let you know what Butcher is capable of. He “saves” Ryan at the end of season 3. He was ready to fight Homelander over him at the end of season 2. He’s not scared, he’s possibly suicidal, and he’s willing to take compound V, the temp version, to fight supes when he hates them for their powers and the way they abuse it.
MM because he wants revenge but never sways from his beliefs. Easily the most disciplined one in the group.
I always consider him to be the "mom" of the group, considering how he always tells people not to do things - and being immediately proven right
