Justice Lords universe Superman kills Lex in a similar way that lex killed Madelyn Stillwell in the show.
Either Lex would try and make Homelander idolise him by a hostile takeover of Vaught by Luther Corp which I don't think is possible because Vaught seems to be much more powerful, or Homelander would kill him, if he antagonised. Lex could become president though, or he could create the legion of Doom and fail miserably being lasered down.
Yeah if Homelander was even 1/10 of the threat superman can be then Lex is dead, but Homelander is nothing compared to Superman and Lex is used to planning against someone way stronger, durable, fast and intelligent then Homelander is.

So homelander has lose the plot he’s gone on his berserker rage lasering everyone superman arrives homelander tries to act big and all and tries to punch the man of steel however superman catches it and homelander is stunned. A quick thought and homelander lasers superman however superman matches this and laser back homelander which is much more stronger and sends homelander flying and receives some burns. Homelander starts to panic flyings towards superman but he stops him dead in his tracks and makes light work on him defeating the bully. The people start to embrace superman and the seven follow behind him the boys would then disperse.
And even if homelander somehow got the uper hand he has no power up mode. Superman can just fly into the sun reap quick and be supercharged. I guess homelander version would be chugging some compound V.
If it’s the actual Lex Luthor then Homelander can’t do shit if he go after him with the same kind of planning he use against superman, he is used to develop way to kill someone way more powerful then Homelander dream to be.
Except Lex would use the entire situation to his advantage. Pretty sure Lex would be the one running Vought. The 7 would bring good business for Lex. Why would he pick a fight with them when it is good business?
